I'm in Deep $H!T

I Really need to upgrade. The wimpy 2.26 CPU is a real pain. I'm looking at the Intel X9100 here's a link http://www.intel.com/Consumer/Learn/Notebook/core2... However like always I can barely get any information on how to upgrade to it or even if it is compatible with my system at all and of course Gateway and Intel won't tell me anything. I have seen upgraded versions of this laptop on eBay with this chip (not sure if it's true or not) So if anyone can help me (through detailed answers or links to how to do it) however if there's no way tell me the closest alternative fastest CPU i can put in it. My comp has been freezing latly ever since the new windows update came and intalled and now when i turn my comp on i get the first screen, then instantly a black screen with "Error loading Windows", it won't go into safe mode Won't get that far but i can get into BIOS (AwardBIOS version) and i don't have i boot disk i'm worried it's my harddrive fried, is it just a software thing or a hardrive failure, and how can i fix?

I really get more pissed off when i get slapped, i meqan balls hurt more of course but why does slapping flip people off faster?

Should i buy the game, send it back, put a another copy, what i don't want to lose my membership with them or lose the abitly to rent 360 games cuase it only happened when a visting family member was being retarded and the 360 got smacked hard (shocked the 360 didn't break, only got a little scruff. Good ol 360 elite better then most) But the gamefly game just was oblitrated, and i love gamefly but i hear there cancling memberships, and when i contacted, Not telling them who i was , it seemed that they would reagrdless, what should i do?
