I went to the e.r. last night for contractions and was told im having contractions but im not dialated and my cervix is soft. Now I am just curious if this means she can come early or if she will be on time or late? Anyone have personal experience similar?

I am 38 weeks pregnant i worked an 8 hour shift today at work didnt get to sit as much as i shouldve i only sat once and now i am at home and feeling weird stomach pains not too painful probably a 3 out of 10. Cars rpms running high sounds like its baving a hard time shifting into gear. Car at first had a hard time going over 40 mph now it will barely accelerate at all. You have to pump the gas petal just to get it to go atleast 20 mph. Or to even move. Could it be transmission? Need a new one? Or just need fluid?
