i have a 93 toyota pickup that the wiring harness is bad...well i was thinking about getting one from a 2wd toyota...will this work if i got all the wiring harness and ecu from the 2wd?? and if so what wont work besides the 4x4 glowing in the dash?

i just went and bought a 1993 toyota pickup with the 2.4,when i bought it it needed fuel lines...i put them on...its getting plenty of pressure but the injectors isnt opening...u can spray stuff in the intake and it fires right up....what can be causing the injectors not to get power?

oh btw i had to run a hot wire to the fuel pump...it wont kick on by the key for some reason....theres no power getting to the original plug in....so what can be causeing power not to get to the pump or the injectors...checked all fuses and there all good...

ok i just got a 2000 audi 2.7t quattro...it has the auto/triponic tanny....well when i first starts the car it runs fine...itll sound like it idles low then bounces up to 1500 rpm really fast and steadys out about 800rpm or so.. when u put it in gear it acts like its missing...when you take off itll pop and hesitate untill it reaches about 3000 rpm.....ive noticed if you slowly take off it runs better....so i replaced the fuel filter and still the same.....you can slowly get it to 2500-3000 rpm and then slam it to the floor really fast and itll pop and carry on and then finally go redline after holding it to the floor a few moments....any suggestions?? anyone know whats going on?

btw only 116k miles on the car....check engine light is on and stays on

wel it ran fine and when i got it home i acidently crossed the termonols(hot to ground- grond to hot on battery) well now the key wont work and theres a box behind the silonod that dings, i dont know what the box is but its dinging and now the motor will not start even with the key on and u crank it by jumpers to the starter........what did i blow or short out or what...help...i dont know anything about boats

i bought this three wheeler..had it bored out,got new gasket kit for top end, put it all together and it wont hit a lick..i made shure i put the cam line with the marker tdc(top dead center) and the pulse coil with the f mark on the flywheel(for firrring) but still nothen...wont back fire or nothen..ive even tried starten fluid and still nothen,it has a spark but seems weak to me....itll start a fire if you take the plug out and put gas on it but it seems its not strong enough to run it. some one please help...got this money in it and id like to ride it b 4 the cold falls...so help!! need advice and what it could be going wrong

i bought it and the speed ometer dont work and theres 2 different types of trannys and i dont know what sensor to buy for it...???how can i tell the differents? please help..

i have a cavalier that im going to try another computer on....i know u take the termonal off the ositive post but when you install the new 1 whats next do you put the post back on and let it set for a few or what????i herd all u do is change them and put ur battery back on and let it set 15-20min b 4 you try to start it...is that right or what.....

p.s. i have a 1993 cavalier with the 2.2L....im taken the ecm out of a corscia 2.2L...so i dont know if it reprograms or what

ok....i have a auto 1993 cavalier with the 2.2L........its not firring....well.....i replaced the crank sensor.....replace the coils and had the ign. control modul checked and its fine..and plugs and wires...the only thing i have'nt replaced is the ecm and the ign. module on the key(module in the steering colum)

i took the ecm out and smelled it and it doesnt smell burnt or n e thing....whats going on here what is there left to replace for the firring.....i got it to fire 1 time today thats it....

ok. i have a 1993 2.2L chevy cavalier ...b 4 i messed with it......it would shut off like 5-10mins after starten...then die...(it stops firring..) well if you let it set it would start and run all day long for you no problems...i know it stops firring b/c i looked after it dies...well i replaced the crank sensor and sark plugs...use the contact stuff on the plug-in on crank sensor....well i started it...moved it mabe 10 feet to put it in my drive way and shut it off....went in for the night....i came out the next day...it started and died...then it'd try then it went dead completely....no spark....i replaced the coils....had the ign module checked...and even got another.. to try....nothen at all...no spark......what now........when it had spark it was like orange...but i dont know after i replaced them...WHAT NOW.......PLEASE HELP....(auto zone said to unplug the o2 sensor and see if it would strt but still nothen at all)HELP.....

i have a 1993 cavalier 2.2L that when u drive it it sometimes will stall out and u just got to give it a few mins. then itl start back....well today it did it and i checked to see if it was firring and it wasnt....all 4 plugs dont fire when it stalls......then like i said let it set a few and itll start back up....the plugs look old and it looks to me like all of them are fire orange color.....sometimes it stalls 1 time a day some time 2-3 times.....what can it be...i think the crank sensor or ing. module is going bad...well tell me what you think

wel i got a 1993 cavalier with the 2.2l its an auto...well it starts fine but i can drive it 3-7 miles and its stalls....well u let it set for 5-10 min and it starts and runs..it only does it 1 time a day it seems and after that it runs fine.....now the other day i drove a mile and let it stay running and it died..then like i said let it set and it will start right up and not have no problems the rest of the day...i think its the fuel pump or something but not shure...whats going on here??(p.s. what give me the fuel pump idea is when it acts up it acts like it isnt getting gas....) what do you think????

i took my car to the shop and they told my my compression is bad...1 piston is showen 60psi and the other 3 is only 20psi....that is bad.....well i was wondering if there is a free online manual to do this....im planning on rebuilding the motor and i was wondering if theres a online site that show u step by step to do this....and what will i need to do this project....its so bad the car wont start...

i own a 1991 honda prelude and the o ring went out in the distr. well i took the distr. out....cleaned it...and replaced the o ring.....installed it back into my car and now it will not start at all... it tried then it just cranks....so i replaced the distr. thinking the pick up coil went out....well did the same thing... tried to start then nothen.....i checked the timming and its fine....i replaced all plugs and wires and still nothen but the same....if u let it set for a while itll try to start then just cranks and cranks....what happened here...what can be cuasen this.....???? i tried usen starting fluid and still nothen....i tried holden it flat to the floor and it still does nothen......no back fire no nothen.....well b 4 i did any thing to the car it ran fine....but.....after a while it can b 5 mins or 5 hours some times.....the check engine light would come on and it would be really harsh letting off the gas...then when u gave it gas it would jump rpm's.....i could hold it at 2000 rpms and it would loop back down then up until u got to like 3500 rpms then would stop...... then sometimes it would act like water in the gas....so what happened here all i did was mess with the distr..and now it wont start at all..HELP PLEASE.......

well, i have a 1991 honda prelude 2.0si 5 speed.....well it all began with the distr. it was getting oil in it from the o ring going bad.....so i replaced it....well its tried to start then it did nothen but crank....so i bought another distr. cause i figured the pick up coil went out in it...nope......did the same thing....tried to start then nothen at all.....welll i tried usen starting fluid still didnt cange anything....it dont back fire or nothen.....so i checked the timming....and its in time......well i put it back together today and i noticed if i let it set for a while it tries to start thats all.....i had the coil checked..its ok....what could be causen my car not to start???? it ran fine b 4 i jerked the distr. and now nothen.....

i have a 1991 honda prelude.....well the distr. was getting oil in it....i replaced the o ring...used the spray to clean it.....and the installed it ....well....i tried it and it tried then just cranks over....i bought another distr. and did the same thing....it ran great b 4 i jerked the distr. out.....now nothen....i put #1 piston on tdc and the rotor button is hitting the #1 on the cap....its gitting fire...and fuel... i even tried usen starten fuel and still nothen...it doesnt back fire... it dont do n e thing....it fires throught the plugs just seems not wanting to light the gas....what happened here????what could be causen this and how could it have happened when all i did was jerk the distr.....oh and i did forget to take the positive termonal off the battery b 4 i did any thing i just jerked it out....cleaned it dried it and tried to start it......

i was wondering if my car has marks for both on my belt and my crankshaft gears on my honda prelude 1991 model 2.0si
