Boondock Betty
There's this book I had growing up, and I can't remember what it is...maybe you know of this book?
Okay, I had this hardcover children's fiction story book when I was a kid...and I can't remember what the title of it was, and without the title there is absolutely no hope of me ever finding this book again (and I'd love to get my hands on it again.) The cover had a picture of a slightly nerdy-looking young boy in glasses. I think there might have been some other things on the cover, but I can't remember for sure. I think there was something about the story that in his mind, he always imagined himself as a capybara, possibly like an alter ego of sorts maybe. Although I could be wrong, I want to say that something said in the story was, "What do capybaras eat?" Or at least, something along the lines of that. But I could be mistaken. :O
Mind you, this story book might be around 15 years old, possibly even older. Does anybody know anything about this book? Also, does anybody know if this book still exists and is still obtainable?
1 AnswerBooks & Authors10 years agoIs my stainless steel reusable water bottle ruined?
I got one of those stainless steel reusable water bottles about six months to a year ago, and I remember that the instructions on the hang-tag said specifically "Do NOT freeze!" Well, I took it with me to up to my family's house for during the final AFC Championship game. Around midnight, my brother brought me back to my place, but I accidentally left my water bottle (almost full, too) in his car overnight last night. And yeah, it's the Winter here in Pittsburgh, so of course it froze. My brother just brought my bottle back to me this evening (evening after), and I wonder if it is ruined because it froze in the car overnight? I wasn't exactly a science whiz in high school, so maybe one could tell me why those bottles say to not freeze them?
4 AnswersOther - Science1 decade agoI absolutely hate mushrooms...is it still possible for me to become vegan?
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about me becoming vegan. I did some searching, trying to find some vegan recipes. I found many. Although it seems that a lot of the recipes call for mushrooms, which I truly hate. (The ONLY exception is in the Kashi frozen entree Chicken Pasta Pomodoro, because the sauce is so strong that I can't even taste the mushrooms.)
Basically, my question is, what could I do? Does anybody have any ideas?
Any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated! =]
