I thought I got some good quality, especially with Maclin in the 6th. What do you think?

My son started playing last year in 7th grade (he'd been playing trumpet). We have one on loan from the school, but I was thinking of purchasing one so he'd have one at school, and one at home.

A. What is the typical "key" of a school french horn? i.e. most trumpets are Bb

B. What's the purpose of a "double barrel" vs a "single barrel"? Do they play the same?

C. I found one of each on Craigslist in my area for $350 (single) and $450 (double). They said the double was "rough" but had a good sound. Is this a decent deal? Which would you buy?

D. What are the best to worst "brands" of French horn?

I teach Word 2010. In Excel, it is easy to see if a student used a formula by hitting CTRL-` and all the formulas will be shown. Is there such a shortcut to see formulas used in a Word table?

I am in a 2 week playoff, and I am the #1 seed. I should have had a disastrous week last week, starting Orton, Bowe, Ivory, and AP, but I find myself only down 3 points heading into the second week.

I need to start 1 QB, and after some waiver wire picks, I have:

McNabb @ Cowboys

Collins @ Houston

No preference here, though Collins skills make me a little nervous, even against the WORST pass D in the league.

I almost always lean towards RB's, so am leaning towards Goodson or Williams, but I don't really like their matchups. Cleveland looked bad against MJD, but Goodson is NOT MJD. Minnesota is known for its tough run D, but Williams has been doing pretty well. I am tied for first, and the other guy has the 0-10 team this week, so I really need to win. What do you think?

I was leaning towards Breaston, considering how Denver tore up KC, but Derek Anderson is not Kyle Orton. The Washington backs scare me because you never know who's starting, and Portis could get back into the mix any week now. Jacobs and McGahee are kind of feast or famine. So is Ochocinco. And Goodson is playing Baltimore, and not sure if Stewart or DeAngelo are going to be back this week. I think I got a good enough team to win no matter who I play, but it'd be nice to be sure....

I need a RB/WR to start this week, and I have a couple good options:

Mike Goodson (new starting RB for Panthers) vs. Buccaneers

I was leaning towards Torain, as he is a RB1, but he is listed as questionable and playing Philly.

I kinda like the Jacobs matchup, as the Cowboys have been stinking it up lately.

Ocho is probably #4 on the list as he has only had 1-2 big weeks.

Goodson could be a sleeper, as the Bucs give up a lot of yards on the ground, and he's the guy, with Jackson and Stewart out.

I think Jackson is the more talented receiver, but I think the matchup is better for Breaston. Breaston is coming off a great game with 147 receiving yards, and Jackson is coming off a bye after a week when he got CRUSHED and received a concussion. Neither QB situation is ideal. What do you think? This is a 12 team league and there is NOONE on the waiver wire worth anything. I also have Ochocinco, so I could sit him and start both of the above.

I give Rashard Mendenhall and Joe Flacco. I get Adrian Peterson and Josh Morgan.

I am about 95% sure I am taking this trade. I have Kyle Orton as my QB, and he has been golden, so I could care less about Flacco. Peterson has been on average about 2 points better per week than Mendenhall. Would you make this trade?

We are in a 12-team league, and I chose 3rd. We can start 2 RB's, 2 WR's, one flex (RB/WR), and one of everything else. We have seven bench spots and they can be anything. You could pick 7 extra RB's if you wanted.

I thought Mendenhall at 22 and Jackson at 27 were steals, as I have seen Mendenhall go first round in some drafts. I hesitated a bit at Ochocinco, but having TO on the other side sealed it for me. I took Celek at 70 because he was the best tight end left. I think Michael Bush could be a beast this year. I waited on QB because of where I was sitting, all the good ones went early. I think Flacco could have a nice season, with Boldin to throw to, and Mason on the other side. I may have reached for Maroney at 99, but he was the only starting RB or WR1 left on the board at that point. Jacoby Jones could be a sleeper if he can overtake Kevin Walter on the depth chart. Laurent Robinson is now WR1 in St. Louis for what that's worth. Could be a steal at 142. I know I reached a bit for Golden Tate, but there just wasn't much left at that point. Probably also reached at 118 for a defense, but I like Charles Woodson, and their new return guy. I got Campbell as my backup QB wiith the 3rd to last pick in the draft. Could have had Bradford, but didn't even think about it. Oh well. What do you think? I think I had the most solid draft in my league as long as MJD stays healthy.

I feel like their greatest need is at left tackle, which is why I think they will choose one of the following: Okung, Baluga, or Williams.

If they choose the safety, Berry, I would be shocked. I also do not think they need to draft a DT or LB here, as the ones they had last year are showing improvement.

What are your thoughts?
