I teach Word 2010. In Excel, it is easy to see if a student used a formula by hitting CTRL-` and all the formulas will be shown. Is there such a shortcut to see formulas used in a Word table?

Excel and Word are different types of applications. Excel you obvioulsy know since you teach it is a spreadsheet so it utilizes all sorts of complex formulas to calculate in table cells.

Word is a word processor to create documents. While Word can be very handy with tables, "formulas" in Word are really document "fields".

The key command to toggle fields in Word is: ALT + F9
