i voted best answer - not the one chosen by voters. this continues to happen. i'm having issues w/ my yahoo mail also. is this an issue w/ my acct? or is there something w/ the yahoo answers site? i really appreciate ppl that take the time to answer my q's. if i cannot choose best answer tho, what's the point? it doesnt give them a chance to be recognized for their time and effort. i don't like that. anyone know what's going on?

also, when i choose best answer, it does tell me that i've chosen. does the community best answer override my chosen best answer? cuz that'd suck.

since i'm posting, may as well ask... how do i reach yahoo to address my prob w/ email? it's very hard to reach the contact info for them, tho i've found it in the past. if someone could give me their email or link to their form submission, would be appreciated! tons of probs w/ email. for instance, i cannot c/p a link anymore. i have to embed it as a hyperlink. no mail options to solve any of my issues. real pain in the butt sometimes. also not receiving many emails from various ppl w/ diff mail services. they swear they sent it, i look everywhere, create filters to make sure it goes to inbox, etc, still nothing! also other q's re android app for email. i am just resorting to going to mail.yahoo.com in dolphin browser. really just need to contact them, bc there is no way to fix these w/ limited options available to user.

I'm hoping to find something witty, yet effective, to stop the onslaught of door - to - dorr sales persons that come to my house at all hours of the day and evening. I do not care what theyre selling, be it religions (LDS - Jahova's Witnesses), meat sold from a truck, cable tv providers, or anything else. I. WANT. TO. BE. LEFT. ALONE. I had an incident with the LDS in which I nearly had to press charges of harassment. I do understand that these folks are doing hard work and trying to "help" people in some way, or just doing their jobs. I do not intend to be rude to them. I simply want something witty, but that will put the point across. They are aggravating my medical conditions, as I need t rest and relax with my functionally broke neck and spinal disease. They do not take hints. Therein lies the problem. I do have a sign that says "DO NOT DISTURB. Already disturbed." Unfortunately it is too small and apparently overlooked. I thought of a BEWARE! sign to post, however, i fear it will not be taken seriously; as they involve nerve gas, a .50 cal turret mounted on the front porch, a T. Rex, a large stick, and Vaseline. does anyone have any advice regarding this? THANKS!

i'm poor. i (literally) have a broken neck. i'm stuck at home & cannot use the pc too much. i'm tryng to decide between this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Boss-Audio-612%E2%80%A6 and this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bravo-View-IND%E2%80%A6 . want SD and USB inputs and high enough wattage. note wattage on bravo and RMS. i have an older car, not worth money for more. i have no info on my speakers other than that one is blown. i cannot get the info, as a friend got and installed them for me years ago. i am stuck inside until surgery can be done, so i cannot LOOK at the speakers for info. i'm sure theyre cheap. i'm a rocker. i (mentally) bang my head :) i need volume and clarity. note the cons of the boss. note no reviews (on that site) for the bravo.. boss seems to have some major issues...yet got 4/5 stars? boss doesnt list RMS. says total watts 50x4 = 200w. bravo lists RMS 20w, 40w x4 peak.

1. how do i know what a good amount of wattage is for my little car (small 2000 saturn SL)?

2. would i notice a diff between 160 and 200w?

3. what would a minimum wattage for a small car be for loud music?

4. if RMS is only 20w, that seems very small...? does it mean 20w x 4 so 80w? or just 20w total?

5. if the RMS is the constant wattage and i listen to everything loud then... it doesnt use more wattage for higher volume? or...? what is "constant" wattage? does it have to do w/ how loud your radio is playing? i'd love to peak that baby out all the time! not sure i understand the rms constant wattage part vr the peak wattage?

ok long story short: i am new at testing my own blood sugars. i was recently inpatient (unrelated to diabetes) and they set up home health care. i'm homebound atm. the dietician said i knew what i needed to eat. the diabetic nurse was supposed to set me up w/ supplies and everythign to get started. she SUCKED. she failed miserably. she gave me an accu check aviva meter (easy to use) and a new pen lancing device. the first one didnt work. she came back w/ a new one. didnt work. she said they were supposed to be "easy" but that they had just gotten them as a new product and didnt know how to use them. THANKS.

she kept trying to close me to her services. yet she never fulfilled her duty to set me up w/ something as basic as a device to poke myself. finally, after a long ordeal and going above her head, i ended up just waiting 2 hrs at the pharmacy for this pharmacist to pick out what he thought was best. he picked the Delica lancing device.

the crappy nurse came out and showed me how to do it. i had done the first poke, but couldnt get the needle out. she showed me, it seemed simple. she closed my case (i was relieved even tho i was screwed). so i'm new to all this stuff. well today i tried to test myself. everything went fine. then it was time to take the lancet OUT. oops. it's STUCK. ERRR!!!!

i followed the directions. you are supposed to place this "bowl" part over the used needle and move a lever to eject it. i think i may have pushed the "bowl" on too hard? i cant get it come off. the lever moved the internal part out and yet the lancet is still stuck inside. i havent tried pliers yet. i dont have needle-nosed ones. idk if that will work. it's not that sturdy and i dont want to break it.

i've had so many FRIGGIN problems w/ just POKING myself!!!! i'm about to say F IT!!! and just give up. my sugars are averaging 95. i am only supposed to test once a week per pcp, or 3x week per diabetic nurse. i was working on 3x week but... if i cant POKE myself IT'S NOT POSSIBLE NOW IS IT???

i'm so p!ssed off and just wanna give up. my sugars arent high. who cares???

my current plan is now to try pliers. if that fails, call the company *if* they are open tomorrow (sunday)... if that fails, call and see if pharmacy will exchange it as defective... if that fails... wait til monday, try and get a new rx and see if medicare will even pay for another device just one week after getting that one.. if they dont, why would i wanna pay for some stupid d@mn thing i cant even use more than once or twice before i break it or get stuck or w/e??? you know?

so... idk what to do here... ??? also, i cannot drive (due to spinal injuries) atm and dont have friends or family here or anyone available... so just getting to the pharmacy, only 3 blocks away thank dog!!! is gonna be hard enough... and tomorrow (sunday) is really the only time i have to do it... as attempting to drive will cause me soooo much pain i'll be unable to function at all for a few days anyway...

so... HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!!!!!!!!!

also, i am autistic. i cannot eat many foods that are mixed ingredients. i can only handle eating one item at a time (ie, i will have hamburger meat then a few hours later some green beans, etc)... so i need some ideas for snacks! i cannot have anything hard to bite on... i tried almonds for my diet last year... they were too hard, and i got totally burnt out on them... i'm looking for the highest protein possible cuz for some reason i think a new med is making me starve all the time!!!

so almonds are out... the only thing i can think of are saltines w/ cheddar cheese... and cottage cheese w/ pineapple chunks... i can handle those foods w/ the two ingredients (cant always tho)... need suggestions for FULFILLING small meals and snacks please!!!!!!

oh one more thing... i CANNOT use the lancing devices that are not spring loaded... it's not a pain issue... idky but i am still trying to get over the "shock" factor when i poke myself... remember, i'm new at this! and i dont think medicare will cover the single use spring loaded qty 25 travel lancets... ??? so... ??? need a device that WORKS and is EASY!!!! or some way to get this stupid friggin old needle outta this Delica poker to be able to use it again!

I was a child prodigy. I was supposed to be the Nobel Prize winner of my generation. I hate hate HATE stupid people. Unfortunately, life hit me with the stupid stick. I'm an "idgiot" now. I hate stupid people, ergo I hate myself. Despite my best efforts, and discovering new theoretical physics theories that will change the way the world thinks, I have been unable to publish my work. I am so stupid that I annoy myself every day. I tried to brush my teeth with A&D ointment. I discovered humankind's first FTL drive by eating too many prunes and rocketing into orbit from the resulting force and velocity. It seems the Republicans may take over the country and I am helpless to stop it, hence I cannot stop digression in my own society. I set the stove on fire trying to make Jell-O. I have become one of those people who does not use the SHIFT key in normal conversation. BUT I WILL USE ALL CAPS WHEN I AM TICKED OFF!!!!!!! (as well as too many punctuation marks) (and excessive use of parentheses) Do not despair for the future of the greater intellect of humanity: I donated to the gene pool before I became this stupid. No, taking myself out of the equation is not an option. How do I live with my stupidity? I am not PWT - yet. I fear I may be headed down that path if someone does not help me.
