Im 21, paying 160 a month for insurance and about 224 a month for the loan payment. so a little less than 400 a month. I make barely make more than minimum wage, working full time, and get a little more than 1200 a month. I have no other things i need to pay for, food, rent, everything you can think of is covered already. I am also trying to save but have a little bit of a nicer car since it is the only thing i am paying for, but do you think 400 a month is too much? thanks!!

I have been given a quote for a 2007mazdaspeed3 with progressive that seems almost too good to be true compared to other insurance companies quotes. i dont have the car yet, but i continued on as if i were going to purchase the plan now and got to the online signing of the contract and it never asked for a vin number for the vehicle, where all other quotes asked for a vin. maybe it comes later, i dont know, but i never signed the contract, since im not going to start paying yet. i guess im wondering if there are more fees that are going to be added in later that are not really shown or known about since i havnt entered a vin, or am i just being a paranoid noob (first time buying car insurance for myself)?

i have heard of people getting screwed over hard because paypal sides with the buyer over the seller, and the seller can easily lie and say they never got the item and get the money back as well. I am selling something for $800+ and would rather do it in person, but i cannot, how safe is shipping something of this price and successfully keeping the money/making a safe sale? thanks guys

I have a 2000 toyota celica gt. I have never really tried selling a car before and im wondering how i should go about doing it.

first off, my car is very slightly modded, new wheels and tires, intake header exhaust, and lowered on coilovers. beyond that, just little things that are better selling points i think like HID headlights, and a much upgraded stereo system. im wondering would it be better to take the car back to stock and then sell all the aftermarkets on the side? or would it be better to try and sell them with it on? my dad says they are good selling points for kids and says some rich kid might end up wanting it with the modifications on and we can get more than its worth but i dont see it happening. everything on the car are top quality parts, no cheap stuff on my car.

it also seems as though people would rather not have a car that has been modified though, and i know for a fact it lowers worth when taking it to a dealer, but that wont be happening as thats a rip off anyway. but thats my biggest controversy: sell as is, or take it back to stock first?

my other question is how else can i make it more known my car is for sale. i have an autotrader account, but it only gets a few hits every now and then from lowballers. what else can i do or where else are effective websites for selling my car?

okay so i got wheels for christmas and im going in to buy some tires in a couple of days for them. I DONT want to put the new wheels on the car until im sure winters over tho, but i DO want the tires on the wheels now. So my question is, if take my wheels in and have the tires mounted to them, can i just put them on the car myself when it turns to spring with no problems? i understand they will need to be aligned but im going to drop the car about 3 inches in the spring as well so, i will wait until the coilovers are on to do the alignment. but besides maybe needing a little air in them from sitting around, all i have to do is put them on and tighten the lugs right? or am i missing something?

I thought i had food poisoning so my girl friend came over and chilled with me and now shes really sick too so it was actually a stomach flu. somebody told me the handbrake is just a weak cable and if you pull the it too fast or if your going to fast it will snap. is that true?
