how does the ring thing work?
What is the difference (in looks) when it comes to a wedding ring and an engagement ring? I never really understood this... i know there are wedding sets where i THINK you give the girl the middle part/the big rock during the engagement and then the bands for the wedding... right?! is that how it goes? do people ever get two separate rings? or how does the whole wedding/engagement ring thing go?
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWho do I HAVE to invite to my wedding?
I'm having a dilema...
As a child, i have always wanted a HUGE cinderella wedding, but as my fiance and i have been together for nearly 4 years, we would like to start planning a wedding... due to choice of location of the wedding and costs of the wedding, we want to keep the wedding extremely small... i literally would like to have the wedding immediate family only... but i came to the dilemma that neither him nor i have a young boy to be a ring bearer for our wedding if we choose to just invite immediate family... i do have a younger cousin who could do it but if i invite my aunt, uncle and cousin then i feel obligated to invite the other 2 uants and 6 uncles (just on my mother's side) to the wedding as well... has anyone been in such a situation?! What do i do?

I want to know what else you all think so that I can improve my singing... Comments about the vocals please! I already know I look HIDEOUSLY Heffer-ish! thanks everyone!
3 AnswersSinging1 decade agoIs it okay to have two weddings?
What I mean by two weddings is... I personally want to get married in a church but my fiance is really not liking the idea... so I was wondering... is it okay to have a simple private church wedding... and then have a big wedding somewhere else?! is that even possible?
23 AnswersWeddings1 decade agois it okay for him to spank our daughter?
I had a child when I was 15, I am 18 now and my daughter is 3... when she was 2 she had a problem with pooping in her panties (she would pee on the toilet fine but when it came to going number two, she would never go on the toilet)... my boyfriend (the only father she has really ever had {her real father and I broke up when she was 2 months}) would spank her every time she pooped her panties... It bothered me when he'd spank her...
as a child I was NEVER spanked... my parents don't believe in spanking children or anything like that.... and before I had a kid, I always told myself I would never spank my kids... to this day, I still haven't spanked my daughter... it bothers me when my boyfriend does but he was spanked as a kid... is it okay to spank your children? Am I just a strange mother who refuses to spank my child? what is right and what is wrong? Is it okay that I don't want to spank my kids? or should I?
29 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoAt what age should children be able to identify letters and numbers?
My daughter turned 3 on July 20th, she has a very large vocabulary and she is pretty smart for her age... she knows the alphabet and she can count to 20 or maybe even higher but she doesn't know how to visually recognize numbers or letters... I've tried teaching her, and reading her alphabet books and i've bought several videos/dvds that teach kids what the letters and numbers look like... what am I doing wrong? or what can I do to teach her?
9 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoAt what age should children start school?
My daughter turned 3 years old in July... I haven't put her in a pre-school yet... is that bad? I have put her in day care where the curriculum is similar to school but I just wanted to know what age I should start her in pre-school or kindergarten.... any ideas?
12 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhat can I do to "lose weight" in one week?
I am 5 fee tall (short) and I'm 18... I weigh more than I would like to weigh and I want to drop as many pounds as I can by next friday... today is Saturday so what can I do diet wise and excersize wise? I am typically a petite girl but because of a birthcontrol I was on, I gained 30 unwanted pounds... i'm not expecting to lose 30 pounds by next week but I would like to know what I can do to look great by next friday... any ideas?
My ideal and (used to be) normal weight was 95 lbs... reaching 100 lbs was always hard for me to do until the birth control... I'm at 125 right now... i'm about a size 5 but would like to go down as much as possible... what can I do for the next week?
45 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhere, When, How, and What tattoo?!?!?
I've been wanting to get a tattoo for quite some time. First off, I've been kind of chicken to getting one but I'm so ready to get one... or not! The thing is, I want to get a tattoo that is original and meaningful... also, I do not know where to put it! I really like stars but everyone I know has stars or something of the sort... since it is permanent, I want to get something that no one else has and have it mean something... another concern I have is where should I put it? I have a 3 year old daughter and luckily I didn't get any stretch marks but I'm planning on having at least 2 more children in the future so I don't know where to have one. I don't want to get fat and have it get all saggy and gross (even though with age it probably will get that way) so I don't know... I really want a tattoo and I will get one I just need ideas of what to get and where the perfect place to get it is! :)
5 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoHow should I decorate my room?
I am 18 years old and I share a room with my 3 year old daughter. (yes I am a teen mom...) I live with my parents in a 5 bedroom home (I have four younger siblings) so I share a room with my daughter and my brothers (who are twins) share a room. I guess the point I am getting to is... Since my daughter and I have different tastes, how can I decorate our room to where we both agree. Her favorite color is pink and the furniture in our room is currently a dark/cherry oak color and I am going to keep it that way. How should I do curtains, room paint, carpet, bedding, etc? I want it to be sophisticated with edge but also something pretty and pink so that we both can be satisfied but I don't know what theme to go with... any answers?
