How long will it take before Barry Bonds realizes he'll have to retire?
This is in reference to the recent Sports Illustrated book excerpt of "Game Of Shadows" a damning investigation into the years of steroid use by Bonds.
Right now, I can't imagine Bonds being in the game on Opening Day, let alone today. The consensus in my office is that he'll get booed everywhere--even at home. What's your take?
9 AnswersBaseball2 decades agoConfession time: how many hours a day are you spending on Yahoo! Answers (see the details for more)?
This is related to an earlier question I asked about productivity. I got some great answers, but no one really addressed how time-consuming it was. I'd like to know how those of you topping the weekly leaderboard are amassing your points. Trust me, I am not envious; merely curious. I imagine those with over 3,000 a week have to be putting in some serious hours. Also, perhaps a bit of insight into your quest for points would be great as well. Why don't you share your YA passion with the rest of us?
10 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoHow productive are you on YA?
I'm curious to know to what extent all of you are contributing. I greatly enjoy the experience and spend as much time as I possibly can on answering. I try to weigh in on votes and feedback, too, but I come up short there since it seems to take so much time.
I see some users compiling unbelievable numbers of points. I don't do this for the points, but I know many users are. What amazes me is that the amount of time necessary to get some of these totals has to be extraordinary.
Last week, I estimated I answered about 220 questions. I would guess that is average or a little low for me, since I average around 1000 points a week. To get that, I probably spent 3 or 4 hours total time each day on average. I'd just love to get some feedback about the time committment you folks have to YA. I'd love to do more, but I'd risk getting fired or divorced!
14 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoHow would you change your life if you won a lottery jackpot?
One of my favorite daydreams is to imagine my life after winning one of those multi-state lottery jackpots. I'm curious as to what others might do.
2 AnswersPersonal Finance2 decades agoWhat's your preference with audio editing/mixing tools?
I've used both Cool Edit/Adobe Audition for editing and mixing, as well as Sound Forge for editing over the last few years. What's your experience with them, and how to they stack up with Pro Tools, SAW or others I haven't mentioned here?
