  • How do you change the oil on a Honda Elite 80, and what kind of oil should I use?

I have a 1986 Honda Elite 80, and the red light has come on again. I know where to empty the oil, but I don't know:

    1) What type of oil should i use? (weather is always 40 to 75 degrees where I live)

    2) Do i just empty the oil and refill, or is there something else that needs to be done, like cleaning a filter?

    3) How do i get the switch to go back to green once i change the oil. The last time I changed the oil, it stayed on red.

    Thanks.

  • Why is there so much anger, hatred and bigotry in this section?

What is going on in "immigration"? I thought the purpose of Yahoo! Answers was to ask questions and get answers to help in life decisions. I thought questions would be things such as "how long does it take to get a passport", "what questions are on the citizenship test", "how can you get a green card". Instead I keep reading anti-Mexican questions, quotes taken out of context, "facts" that are just propaganda, personal attacks (especially against Pancha) and grammar checks.

While I had no real opinion on Latin American immigration status 2 weeks ago, reading Q & A's about the anti-"Illegals" has actually led me to the conclusion that since the end of Jim Crowe laws, Mexican laborers are getting the same hatred that Black workers received thru the 60's & today. The opinions of many posts today are exactly what we would have heard 20 years ago against a different population.

Do you think the anger will end soon? When will it be safe to read this section--epithet free--again?

  • What can we, as individuals, so to help stop the genocide in Darfur?

There is a genocide going on. Arab militia, backed by the Sudanese government, have terrorized non-Arab tribes in the region in western Sudan over the past three years, murdering and raping tens of thousands, burning villages and driving more than 2 million people into squalid camps in Darfur and neighboring Chad. The UN just cut humanitarian aid to the refugees by 50% due to lack of funding. The American populace seems too focused on ensuring that same-sex couples aren't allowed to marry and women aren't allowed to control their own bodies, while doing nothing to help stop the murder and/or death by starvation of millians of innocent human beings. How can we get people to focus their attention on this real genocide? How can we get the government to pay attention to this situation and do something concrete about it?

  • Airline companies, charter flights or consolidators that fly direct from Oakland/SF/SJ to Paris?

I am trying to fly to France direct, for cheap. Air France and Delta seem to have the only direct flights, but they are expensive. Anyone know of a charter company or other inexpensive way to fly to France from the SF Bay area?
