After about an hour of gameplay, my PS3 slim 120gb get pretty hot in the back where the HDMI plugs go. I feel hot air coming out too. My PS3 is below my tv which is right below the window on a wooden drawer. The half of the PS3 is also hot (the back part)

I'm running ubuntu 10.04 netbook edition. When i log out and switch sessions to GNOME, it sill shows the GUI with all the categories and icons, no the GNOME desktop where everything is like a windows desktop. How do i fix this?

I ran this in terminal once to unlock the GNOME panel

i have a windows vista laptop with home basic. its an inspiron 1525 2 ghz, 1gb ram. Whenever i turn it on, it goes to the windows boot up screen and then after a while, the screen goes white and then shuts down. it's fully charged and all that. i tried going into safe mode but it still goes to a white screen and shuts off. i tried every other option on the boot menu. but i didnt use a boot cd or anythign like that. what should i do?

whenever i right click on my desktop while using the windows vista standard theme, it takes about 30 seconds to appear. i got nothing no third party software on the context menu. When i right click with the vista basic theme, its fine. How do i fix it?

I have 512 mb of ram on my windows xp. If i set the paging file to 1800 mb, will it help my computer's performance? Currently, it is 786 mb now
