  • Good sites for Palm Tungsten software?

What are some good sites for a wide variety of freeware and shareware Palm software, more specifically Tungsten sofrware? I had a Palm Pilot back when there were Palm IIIs and all the software was the same, but I just got a Tungsten E2 and don't know if its all compatable or what the situation is right now out there with Palm software?

So any info, and guidance for sites to find palm apps would be greatly appreciated, especially those that you wouldn't find from a quick web search.

  • Is there a way to customize Yahoo! Widgets so that they are hidable?

When all my apps are closed, my desktop is littered with widgets. Would be nice to hide/show them completely with a function key, just like F8 brings them all to the front. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

  • What is the proper etiquette for inviting friends' significant others to your wedding?

Is it proper etiquette if strapped for a wedding to ask a good friend to come to the wedding without their significant other, especially if you know that your friend knows alot of other friends at the wedding so they won't be alone? Or does etiquette dictate that if you're going to invite someone to your wedding, you have to invite the other person, even if you don't know them at all?

  • How to score the 'Go" points in three player Cribbage?

If three players are playing cribbage (Players A,B,C are sitting clockwise, what happens in these case/who scores the points and how many points do they score?

    - Player A plays a card, Player B says Go, Player C says go, does Player A get two or one point?

    - Player A plays a card, Player B says Go, PLayer C continues playing, Player A says Go, Player B says Go, etc. Who has scored points during this fiasco.

    - Player A plays a card, Player B says Go, Player C contunues playing, Player A continues playing, Player B says go again (does he get a point?) PLayer C says go (does A/B get a point?)

As you can see, these points for Go are confusing. Is there a simple rule for scoring go's with three players?

  • How likely was one of the Bride's escape during Kill Bill v2? (spoilers)?

In the second movie, the Bride punches through a wooden coffin and quickly digs her way, through earth, out of a recently filled grave.

Taken for granted that a lot of implausible things happen during both volumes, does anyone know if, given the assumption you're able to break through a wooden coffin, its possible to dig yourself out, rather than the scenario I would imagine: earth would fill into your coffin and you'd die.

  • How common is the X-Men Mutant vs. "Normal" Humans Theme?

Its been clearly developed in the x-men movies - the struggle for mutant beings to co-exist peacefully among humans, the prejudice and fear the regular folk exhibit towards mutants, and so forth.

How prevalent is this theme in all other x-men incarnations, such as the tv shows and comic books? Has this struggle been touched upon when the series was created or were the two most recent movies the ones that focused on the co-existance of humans and mutants?

How do the comics (and show) differ in the struggle for acceptance? Was Jean Gray part of a movement to foster coinhabitance of the norms and the mutants? Was there a Senetor Kelly and what was his role?

  • How does "The Butterfy Effect" really end? (Warning: spoilers)?

Was watching the director's cut, where at the end, the main character watches a film of his birth, returns to his mother's womb and strangles himself. Apparently, this is not how the original version ends, the ones shown in theatres. How does this movie originally end?

  • Can I have some info on DVD Recorders?

Like, if I record a show with a particular model, will that dvd play properly in other players? (take the assumption that the other players are not very old) ? How much video can typically be recoded on a regular DVD+R disk? Is it possible to find models that compress the video so they can record more? Do most support dual layer dvd discs?

  • Why can't some DVDs I make play in my old tabletop DVD player?

Some movies I make are not playable on my tabletop DVD player, but are playable on my friends and families' player. One particular brand (Memorex) of DVDs work all the time, the others so far have not. The player itself is a little old, but I'm wondering how different brands can make a difference...

A friend at work says its the color of the reflective surface...older lasers don't recognize them, but all my blank dvds, regardless of brand, seem to be the same shade of blue.
