Help with freezing in Skyrim Waking Nightmare quest?
I'm experiencing the (known) glitch where after you pull the chain and dispel the barrier, every single time you try to save or bring up your inventory (when it auto-saves), the game freezes. Is there any way to unfreeze it or keep it from automatically saving?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games8 years agoBook trilogy about a girl who falls into other people's dreams?
I forgot the titles and only remember one character's name, so I'm having an incredibly hard time finding it, but it's a YA fantasy trilogy about a girl named Jenny who gets drawn into other people's dreams regardless of what she's doing at the time, if someone falls asleep in class, she's sucked into their dream, etc. It's not safe for her to drive because of this, she very nearly has a deadly accident and has to sell her beloved car. It's been happening to her since she was about 8 or so but is more frequent as she gets older. Her mother is an alcoholic and she never knew her father.
She ends up working for a special department of the police and using her skill to investigate for them, but she also learns that the "gift" has a price-- by the time she's about 25, she'll have gone blind, and by the time she's 35 she'll be crippled and unable to use her hands. The only way to escape this is to isolate herself from others completely, but she later learns that that is what her father did and instead of losing his vision or use of his hands, he instead started getting headaches that ended in brain damage and put him into a coma.
The titles were all single words-- short words, I think one of them was "Gone" but searching it turns up nothing. She had a boyfriend with a really dark past whose name may or may not have begun with a C- not sure- who helped her hide her ability and tried to convince her to stop working for the police once it became dangerous, though he worked for them too. Another character was an old lady in a nursing home (I think her first name might have been Dorothea?) where she worked who turned out to have had the same ability, and who died in the first book before Jenny discovered this-- she later found out that the woman had worked for the same people and left her some money for college and a sort of diary thing explaining what was known about the ability, and also appeared in her dreams later to guide her.
Help me out here, anyone?
4 AnswersBooks & Authors10 years agoWhat do these yahoo products REALLY do to your computer- (Please read this for your own computer's sake.)?
The ONLY thing I had installed was Yahoo messenger and the toolbar. But more and more Yahoo stuff began to appear on my computer which I never installed. Around the same time, my computer aquired a lot of adware and spyware despite my firewall being fully functional. Yesterday, all my Accessories: Games files (like hearts, minesweeper, etc) were missing and had been replaced with a bunch of Yahoo games (that I had never installed.) Those missing games are no longer anywhere on my computer. I wrote to customer care about it and got no response.
The problems stopped once I uninstalled the Yahoo messenger and toolbar, though I never got my own games back. Despite their claims that their products protect you from spyware, it seems they instead install their own spyware and adware at the risk of your files, while telling you your computer's protected.
So I come to my question: Has this happened to you yet? And do you plan to keep Yahoo products on your computer and wait until it does?
