I got this girl's number a couple of months ago. When I first got it I called the next day and I never got a return call. So assumed she was no longer interested. A buddy of mine today said to try to call her again and see if I can get anything going with her again. he saying that it doesn't matter if it has been a while but I am not so sure about it. so anyone agree with my friend or has advice about this?

I know this is probably stupid question but I am some what stupid when it comes to dating. I meet this girl at a strip club and ask her out. yes she is a stripper. she said yes and gave me her number and before i left she came around to me again and said definitely call her and I said I probably call her tomorrow. not sure if she heard me. So I called her the next night and only got her voice mail and i left a message. Here's the problem. according to my friend and a few online sites you don't call the girl the next day after getting her number. Did I screw up by calling her to soon even though I said before hand that I was going to? So do I still have a chance with girl?

I have been single my whole life, i am 27, my first kiss was a stripper ( she made to move on me), I have been on only 3 dates ( 2 where friends so I guess they don't count and the one was a blind date), I haven't really met any girls that I am remotely interested in in a long while, I hate going to bars and parties ( drunk people annoy me immensely), I have no real social life and only two friends who drink so I try to avoid hanging around them when they are drunk so no help there, and I don't consider myself religious so church is not a good looking place for dates. should I just give up on finding a girlfriend? It seems hopeless to me right now but I also know I am also not very knowledgeable about dating so I could be wrong. What you think?

ok I have never dated before and after much reading and studying on dating I still feel completely lost in find someone to date, how dating works, and how relationships work. I know I sound kind of stupid to not understand a basic thing such as dating but I am not any where near socially adept. any advice is appreciated

I am going to be 27 soon and I never had a girlfriend. I have only been on one real date (a blind date). Does this lower my already low chances of ever getting a girlfriend. I say already low chances due to various other factors like being a geek, agnostic, introvert, straight edge, and many more things that seem to be working against me. I have reached the point in my life where the possibility of me being single for my entire life cant be completely ignored. I know it's not definite but I need to learn to deal with it. sorry that I am venting a bit and not sure what section this question belongs. Thanks for any advice. and please no God stuff I am agnostic if anything at all.

I am feeling a bit down right now because it feels like I am completely unwanted. I have been single my whole life and only been on maybe only one date in my life. I never belong in any social circles and I never feel like I fit in with any crowds. I am at the age of 26 so there is really nothing I can do about my social situations ( I tried). any advice?

are girls unattracted to guys that like anime, video games, and sci fi movies/shows?

I am turning 26 and I dont have many friends. I dont go to bars and I dont drink. the friends I have now dont really share a common interest except video games and some types of movies. I also dont go to college because I cant afford it right now. It seems almost imposibble to meet new people at my age when your a social arkward geek ( or something close to that). I kind of want to find people who have simlar interest as me too hang out with. any advice?

I dont even know where to go to meet girls. I dont drink and bars are extremely boring. I have tried online dating sites no luck there either.and whenever I do ask a girl out i usally get turn down or given the run around (in other words avoid giving me an answer). I have read a couple of books on dating but they seemed to have made me more confused and clueless about dating. sometimes i think its just the country or state i live in. Should i just call it quits?

I am not sure if I have any kind of talent at all in anything. everything i do seem to be done wrong or dont even know how to them right. any advice will be helpful

I have been single for my entire life. I know this seems to be the same life story when it comes to geeks and nerds. Dont get me wrong I am proud to be a geek and a bit wierd. But when it comes to dating I dont know what to do where to meet people or how to go about it. I have read various books on the subject including ones for guys that are shy. It seems impossible since most places where people gather I quite frankly hate like bars and dance clubs. The only social gathering I have been comfortable going to and enjoy are anime conventions. I am starting to think giving up is a good idea or find a way out of the town I live in. Part of me though doesnt want to give up hope so like always my mind is trying to drive me crazy lol. Since I dont have many friends and the ones I have are not helpful (they makes things worse 99% of the time and dont even have the same interest) I am asking for your suggestions and advice. I have been in and out of depression for years and it has gotten worse year after year. I have tried meds and all that have done was gotten sick. And I have tried to got to a psychologist twice. I have a tendency not to trust them that much and have a hard time opening up to them. My main friend I hangout with has a tendency to make my depression worse and what ever self worth I have dispaer with out him even trying. Then he makes it worse by scolding for being depressed. I dont really have another friends except on an mmorpg game. I also get anxity attacks and massive heat aches and chest pains in any job I work at and at places with large crowds and loud noises. The only large crowd and loud noises i was able to stand was at anime conventions. I have also been single my entire life and I think the main reason is my depression and lack of friends. Lifes not all that bad outside of those things. advice and ideas are greatly appriciated and thanks in advance.

I have tried bars but they are annoying loud bad music and very boring. Not to mention I dont drink. Dance clubs are also loud and boring. and no luck in either one. I have been single for 25 years. Or my entire life so far. which ever one you choose. I am wonder if any one have had a dry spell like mine.

I am not religious. I do have some spiritial beliefs but not so much in God. so please no preaching about god or jesus.

I want to start learning martial arts again but am unsure which martial art to learn.

I have a strong interest in martial arts and eastern philosophies. I have studied martial arts before but never got a black belt. For most part I study it on my own now. I also like anime and cartoons alot. I watch them and think about some of the philosphical principles and concepts they have. Well some of them at least. I am also not sure what kind of a career to purse. thank you in advance for any advice.
