I am wanting to build a fire pit and I need some fire brick to line the inside.

Not sure why but starting today when I go to any web site online the address is faint accept for what ever search engine is being used. For example at this time http://answers./ & question/ask: is faint but yahoo.com is dark. Not sure what is going on. I first noticed the issue when I could not access any of the yahoo game rooms. Does anyone have a clue?

I work for a haz-waste transportation company out of Houston, Texas. Do to resent changes in safety policy our drivers are no longer allowed to have their safety goggles permanently attached to their hard hat. I have seen a molded plastic clip/strap that clips to the rear of the hard hat and holds the goggles when not in use. The goggles are not attached to the clip in any way other then when not in use. Can anyone out there help me locate some of these clips?

Answer: The ignition switch is fairly cheep and easy to install. Go to jcwhitney.com and order yourself on. Or you could just go to your local parts house. The Key switch is around $18.00 and the ignition switch is around $15.00. The come with installation diagrams. Give up on all of these bypasses and extra switches

I am generating a spread sheet for a friend of mine who is not in any way computer literate. I am trying to help him keep track of his exspensis. However, I have not yet learned how to lock the formulas assigned to the cell. I know how to lock the sheet, but I would like to be able to insert and remove data from the cell without disturbing the formula itself. Can this be done? I am signed up to take an excel class next simester but thats a little to long.

The question is this: If the Dixie Chicks are Americans and all Americans have the same freedoms set forth in the constitution, than why are they being outed for expressing their freedom of speech? The way I see it, they made no threts, they voiced no facts, they told no lies. All they are guilty of is voicing their openion. So therefore what is the big deal? I am a very proud American who has a som the the Marine Corp. and a future Son-in-Law in the Coast Guard. I stand firmly in saport of the troops. They all fight for my freedom to think, speak, spray and live the way I want to.

I started working for my present employer 16 months ago. At the time I was a little desperate to go to work and was not as sharp as I should have been at the bargining table. My first interviewer quoted a salary of $800.00 for a 40 hour week (+ 2 weakends on call per year) with sizable quarterly bonases. However when I went for the final interview with the owner of the company he stated he would start me out at $700.00 for a 40 hour week (+ 2 weakends on call per year) with sizable quarterly with bonases. After speaking to my direct supervisor, I was informed that after 90 days I would receive the boost. After 180 days I received a $50.00 increase. But the bonases are miniscule to say the least. Now they want me to take 4 to 5 on call weakends. Do I have any lgal standings?

I keep getting all these skinny loud mouth punks that want to bow up at me. But when I stand up they start talking "I'll call the cops" or "I'll take you to court!" Are there not anymore real men out there that settel there diferances between themselfs? Why is it that a man can't just take his lumps like in the old days? When or loose be a man. Why can't people learn to take up for themselfs? I can see if you are the little guy being hounded by the big guy, but if you are the little guy you should not go around picken fights. Am I wrong?

I am a very proud father of a US Marine who has served his country in Iraq for the past 2 yaers. I just read an artical where the gonernment said that burning the flag is a right provided by the 1st amendment. I feel that this is an insult to all of the men and woman who risked or gave their lifes for their country. I think that it is appoling for anyone to burn the flag of their own country. I understand that some feel that these men and women are defending the rights and freedoms provided by the constatution. However I think this is going a little to far. If you are not happy with the country you live in.."Get Out" or peak out in the power of the vote. Wright or call your congressman. What do you think?

Five years ago fried of mine was at a party where ther was a lot of people drinking. This guy hooked up with a woman at the party. Later he discoverd she was only 16. She told someone he tuched he chest and next thing you know he is charged with indeasency with a child by contact. He is regesterd for life and his face is on the web with his address. He has had to move 8 times. He found out that the last place he lived at he had a naibor who killed a guy in a drunken bar fight. However no one cared because he served his dept to sociaty. He worked with a guy who robbed a mini-mart. But again that was in his youthfull past and no one cared. My friend was just 22 when his offence accured. But being labled a "sex offender" stayes with you forever no mater how long ago or how much you are punished or how miner the offence. So my question is after hearing this do you thing that all offenders should be listed?

One of my co workers had to take off 1 day for a family emergency. Upon return he was told he would be docked one days pay. However two days after his returned he was required to attend a safety meeting on his day off. All the hourly employees got paid but he did not. Is this leagal? There is nothing in the employee hand book that covers this.
