  • Has anyone else noticed slow connection speeds from the UK to the USA?

    I have BT internet and I have noticed slow internet connections while web surfing on to sites that physically reside in the USA.

    I have tested my internet connection through a site that i get to chose the server to test against and the speed difference when i select a USA server is much slower than when i test a UK server.

    Here is an example of a traceroute, and notice how speed is in the teens of milliseconds and then just jumps to the high nineties.

    Do any of you experience the same problems? Calling BT is not an option, I tried and it is just to frustrating.
