  • Chevy Van, Radiator gone? ?

I have a Chevy G30 Van, went for a 5 miles drive, and its about 7 degrees F. The temperature gauge in the van was at the hottest point. When I pulled over the engine was steaming. It was also leaking, does that mean there wasn't any antifreeze. We just had the radiator replaced a few months ago. What do I do?

  • Can i mix butter and shortening when making butter cream frosting?

Can i mix butter and shortening when making butter cream frosting? I've seen a few recipes that call for shortening, or butter, with claims that shortening holds better than butter temperature wise, but that butter tastes better. Exactly how does this affect the chemistry in the recipe?

  • My son has an IEP and has a hearing for a long term suspension. What are his rights?

My son has an IEP and has a hearing for a long term suspension. He is 9 years old. He has temper problems, and sees a therapist on a continued basis, he is on ADHD medication. A neuro-psych consultation determined that he was too young to be diagnosed with anyother behavior disorder, and that he was no bi-polar or anything like that.

So he got in trouble, and hit his principle, which is why he we have to go to a long-term suspension hearing. What does this entail? What are our rights?

  • why can't we get cancer checkups?

I belive Doctors, and Hospitals should design another physical checkup, but is all about cancer. I just read that Ovarian cancer is a silent killer, because there are no symptoms until the end stages. I am sure this is the case for many other cancers, so why can't we go to the Doctor, even if we don't have history of that cancer in our families, and just be able to get these checked??

  • Im 7weeks pregnant, and my symptoms seem to be going subsiding.?

Im 7weeks pregnant, and my symptoms seem to be going subsiding. I've never really had morning sickness, but my breasts were really sore, and now not really, not at all. Plus I called the doctor to make a pre-natal appointment, and the nurse told me that doctor prefers to see women who are between 8-10 weeks before they go in for their first prenatal appointment. Are these things normal? i have an 8 year old, so its been a long time since Ive been pregnant and I don't remember if the symptoms went away, or ever having a Dr tell me to wait this long. A long time ago I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks, and Im very worried.

  • What's that song, I think it was in the 80's?

I think it began with "what can I say (pause) when you're standing here with teeeeears in your eyes........ A guy sings it, it was really popular. He sounds like Al Green sort of, definitely not Barry White.
