I recently received an ipod (I think it's a second generation) from a friend who no longer wanted it. Needless to say my itunes account is not the original account that the ipod was hooked up to. When I connected the ipod to the computer with the cable nothing happened, neither the ipod nor the itunes acount registered the connection. Are there any settings I can change or is there any other way for me to hook up this olde ipod to my computer?

What is an estimated guess on how many businessess, corporations and industries are in the United states? Where can i find this information online?

I asked a question the other day about this guy giving me silent treatment and then told me he didn't want a relationship blah blah blah. basically the consensus was that i should just let it go, not talk to him and keep my dignity intact. but i just found out that while we were dating he was really interested in this other girl. is it okay for me to demand an explanation or should i just walk away from the whole situation and be done with it. the horrible thing is i still like him after all this, but i would never admit that to anyone.

There is a guy I know that we had a thing for about 2 weeks. Not really a huge deal. But we were friends for about 3 Months before we stated dating. Then last Monday he stopped talking to me. Out of the blue. I tried to talk to him via texting and calling several times and he never awsered. then today I finally had enough and decided to go see him where he works (Safeway) I told him I was sick of the silent treatment and all he said was he didn't want a relationship right now. I told him I didn't deserve to be treated like crap and all he said was sorry. So what do I do now. Just not talk to him? Ever? For a while? Ask him why no relationship? I really have no idea what to do and I can't seem to just walk away and I keep thinking about him. What should I do? How should I react?

This school year something I want to do is become less stuck-up. I don't generally consider myself to be stuck-up but it is a mechanism I use when I feel nervous or intimidated. I know I shouldn't act stuck-up, but what are ways that I can conciously change my behavior in order to not give the appearance of being stuck-up or a know-it-all?

I thought i liked him, so i led him on, now he is being really clingy and we are technically 'going out' but i don't want to anymore. What is the best way to 'break up' without hurting him too much?

I got a bad haircut that is really really short. does anyone have any ideas on how to make it look better. there's a lot of layers and it barley goes into a ponytail. i used to have hiar down to my waist so this is a huge change for me.
