  • Hotels or hostels in Paris?

    My husband and I are going to Paris for 4 nights in May. We're looking for an inexpensive place to stay (less than $100/night) - doesn't have to be fancy or have many (or any) amenities. We do want it to be in a good neighborhood and close to the subway. I've looked all over the internet and have several in mind, but all the reviews I've read have been mixed. Please help me with any suggestions on places you've stayed! (And please don't refer me to TripAdvisor - believe me, I've been there!) Thanks!!

    Pros and cons of each system if configured similarly with:

    -Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 (1.5GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)

    -2GB DDR2 RAM

    -Vista Home Premium

    -Dedicated graphics card

    -Integrated web cam and Bluetooth

    Also, any idea how much extra weight a 9-cell or 12-cell battery will add? Thanks!

  • Exercises to do while sitting in class?

    I'm a full-time student and I spend a good chunk of my day sitting in a lecture hall. By the time I get home at night, I'm usually too exhausted or have too much work to do to exercise. Does anybody know of any good exercises that I can do while I'm sitting (without looking really crazy)? Thanks!
