  • Would you rather play Cash or Free Poker?

Would you rather play Poker for money (out-of-pocket expenses) that require you to pay buy-ins and minimums for the hope of being ahead at the end the night... or play Free Poker in a league where over a 16 week season you can earn points, play in championships, and potentially earn a seat to the WSOP? (assume this is only one night a week)

On one-hand, you can cash out and perhaps make some money, or lose, and be done with it.

On the other hand, you could potentially be playing for over a million bucks at a national event, but time and effort are involved.

  • How do I find money to start flipping houses?

I'm ready to go. Got my team in place, and perspective properties lined up, just need the funding. Please, REAL answers only (saw another similar question where the "best" answer chosen was for a guy who said he'd buy the asker a pancake house when he hits the lottery). Also, please spare me the "Hard Work" diatribe and advice on how to make it successful. I don't need the advice, I need the cash.

  • Why does one of my headlights go out when I put my Brights on?

I drive a 2002 Ford Focus. Recently I had to replace a head light bulb because it blew out (actually, had a repair facility do it for me). Now I noticed that when I put my bright lights on, that head light goes out.

  • As a Poker Tournament Director, what would you do (please read).?

Recently I was directing a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament. During normal play I happen to notice that a card in a deck was damaged. As I went to go get a replacement deck, one of the players had already grabbed a deck from another table. In the middle of a hand, and before I could stop the player, he had dropped the new deck in with existing card, effectively mixing them up (same backing). Though there had been some Pre-Flop betting action, I declared a reset of the hand and took some heat from the players that were holding good pockets (which of course I shared with the player that screwed the whole thing up).

  • During this recession, how has your house flipping business been doing?

Please, ONLY House Flippers to respond. The concern you may have during a recession is not whether or not you can find quality properties for sale cheap (that's a given), but if you will be able to quickly sell them after rehab for a good price. How's it been going? Taking losses? Making a little money? Still hitting the gold mine? Are they selling fast enough? have to sit on properties?

  • If given $20,000 to change your life for the better, what would you do?

Please be specific... give me more than just "invest it in stocks or realestate". $20,000 isn't much, but if worked properly, could be life changing.

  • If I copy a flat ISO file to a data CD, will it be bootable?

I have all the files for a Windows 2003 Server installation copied to a CD, but the server will not boot off of it because the CD isn't formatted to be bootable. I also have Windows 2003 Server ISO file available to me. Just wondering if I take a plain Data CD and copy the ISO file to it, if that'll be enough to boot from it so I can run the installation.

  • How can I be more effective in finding a female co-owner for my Swingers group?

I'm an owner of a local Adult Lifestyle "Swingers" group and have been looking for a female partner, with no luck. I'm not necessarily looking for a swinging partner for myself, though that would be nice. I'm merely looking for an out-going swinger female to help take the group to the next level. Any ads I've posted in various places either get no response or the responses are either Spammers or attached women who don't return responses.

  • Can/Should I buy this house?

I recently found a small house for sale in my town in an area where the neighboring homes are in the $200K+ range. This house is vacant and for sale at $45,000 with little to no Rehab. I actually want this house for myself, but I can't afford a monthly payment of any kind right now. Since Mortgage rates seem to calculate the monthly payment at less than $300 a month, can I buy the house with Zero Down and rent it for $400 or more until I'm ready to take it over (in about one year)? - Is this a pipe dream?

  • How do I make Yahoo Email my default Email Client?

I'm having trouble making Yahoo Email my default Email Client. I know that when you download the Toolbar, or Messenger, or both, you'll get an option in Explorer under Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab where you can select Yahoo! That option does not come up for me. No matter how many times I've downloaded, installed, uninstalled, re-updated any of the Yahoo tools (toolbar, messenger), this option will not appear. Note: I've recently had a hard drive crash and installed a new drive and reloaded Windows XP. No previous settings should be standing in the way.

  • Are laptop batteries a "Consumable"?

The company I work for has a contract to repair computer/laptop/printer equipment. As a part of that contract, we don't cover items that are considered "Consumables". That is things like toner cartridges and such. It is our assumption that since most laptop manufactures only limit their warranties on batteries for one year (even though the laptop will have a 2 or 4 year warranty), that batteries are considered consumables. I'm sure as you read this, you may agree. However, I need a statement from a laptop manufacturer, preferably IBM/Lenovo, that indeed batteries are expected to be replaced my End Users on a periodic basis.

  • Why are my finger nails getting brittle?

Lately, within the last month, I've been breaking nails constantly. To the point where I'm keeping clippers in my pocket. I'm a 43 year old male. My nails tend to grow pretty quickly, always have, but now they don't have to grow too far past the quick before they start to fray and split. What mineral am I missing in my diet?

  • When will I see the Solar Eclipse tomorrow?

Being as I live in Michigan and will be traveling to the northern part of the state tomorrow, I'm wondering when, if possible, will I see the Eclipse. Looking at Space.com, it shows that potentially I'll see it around 9:30 UT time (or perhaps even a lot sooner, it's vague). Doing some research I learned the UT time is 4 hours ahead of me. So that means that the eclipse will be viewable at 5:30 AM??? Is that possible?

  • Can I make a tanning bed?

If I use standard florescent bulbs from any hardware store, can I make a tanning booth/bed that will work? Do those bulbs provide the required UV for tanning? Or do tanning booths/beds use a special type of bulb?
