Can anyone solve this problem?
Thimerosal is an organic compound (gram-molecular mass = 404.8 g/mol) used to inhibit bacterial growth. a 0.1 % solution of thimerosal is sometimes used as an antiseptic. Assume that this solution has a density of 1.0g/mL.
a) How many grams of thimerosal are found in 0.5g of 0.1% solution?
b) How many grams of thimerosal are required to make 50g of 0.1% solution?
c)What mass of thimerosal must be mixed with 25g of water to make a 0.1% solution?
d)How many grams of thimerosal are required to make 75 mL of 0.1% solution?
e) What volume of 0.1% solution contains 0.75g of thimerosal?
