  • Pictures frames for wedding reception table?

I am getting married at a zoo. Each table for the reception will be named for an animal, and my aunt is painting small pictures of each. I need to find 25 4x6 frames in silver, white, or blue to put the paintings in. I am having a really hard time finding frames at a reasonable price. We need $25 but we don't want to spend over $100. Any suggestions?

  • Where can I get a creative wedding cake near Sacramento, CA?

I live in Sacramento, CA and am getting married at our local zoo. I am having an elegant wedding with a slight animal theme (in subtle ways). I am looking for a cake place that can make beautiful cakes but are also creative. Any suggestions?

Also, I don't really know what to expect regarding prices - what do you think I should count on?

  • Activities to do with a 13 year old boy?

I have to come up with a birthday gift for a 13 year old boy. He really enjoys doing things with adults, so I am trying to come up with something we can do together. Last year I took him to a movie and restaurant of his choice, so I wanted something new to do. He isn't all that into sports. He likes animals and cooking and sciencey stuff. Any ideas? His birthday is this Saturday.

  • Sacramento, CA - curing fear of spiders?

I live in Sacramento, California. I have a very dibilitating fear of spiders, and have finally come to the decision to seek professional help. I am not a person who fears things or who needs counseling, I just have a unreasonable fear of spiders that seems to have gotten much worse over the years. I don't remember being quite as scared when I was a kid, but now at age 28, seeing a spider makes my heart race, my breathing shallow, I will sometimes cry, and I have a nervous tick with my hands. Does anyone have any suggestions (local, please, at least Northern California) of somewhere or someone who treats arachnophobia?

  • How do I know when I am his girlfriend?

Okay, this might sound cheesy, but my past long term relationship started in high school, so we verbally decided to "go together" and that was that. As an adult, it isn't as easy to determine when you have passed from the simply dating stage to actually being considered girlfriend and boyfriend. This is rather new territory for me, so how do I know when we are "official"? I feel weird just coming out and asking him - I feel like it is the 1950's and I',m asking him to go steady. What are you thoughts? Any advice for me?

  • What is the best Stephanie Plum book?

I love all of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels. I want to submit one for my book club, except I don't want to use book 1 because it is definitely more violent and less quirky than the others. Which do you think is the best one? I want top submit one that has lots of funny Grandma Mazur and Lula, lots of sexy Joe and Ranger, and preferrably characters to break into Stephanie's apartment (that always cracks me up). Which one should I suggest?

And when you suggest one, could you remind me of the highlights - they've all run together for me.

  • What should I do when visiting Boston?

I am visiting Boston for two days with my parents and friend in late June of this year. We are all adults. We would like to see the highlights of the city, maybe take a good tour, and eat at a great restaurant that is unique to Boston. Do you have some suggestions for me? I have looked at some Boston websites, but they have been pretty lame websites, so I would rather hear from personal experience.

  • I need some unique/fun date ideas. Any suggestions?

I am 28 years old and have been out on one date with a very nice guy. We are going out again this Tuesday and hopefully some more times in the future, and I need some ideas for dates other than the standard dinner or movie.

As for background, we are both late 20's, we live in Sacramento, CA - which is a medium-sized city. I'd prefer something not too expensive.

  • I really like a guy, and I think he likes me too, but how can I find out how he really feels about me?

I have been seeing a guy for almost a month - we've gone out about once a week. We have already slept together. I really like him - he just makes me feel really comfortable and I think he's great. We both seem to enjoy our time spent together, but I would like to get a clear idea of how he feels about me. Should I just come right out and ask? And if so, how should I go about it? Are there other things I could do to get a good reading?

Just in case it applies, I am 28 and he is 34.

  • I need some unique/fun date ideas. Any suggestions?

I am dating a new guy and I really like him. I would like to find some fun things for us to do that is more than just going out to eat or to the movies.

We both like the outdoors (though, the weather is starting to turn a little cold), traveling, going for drives, etc. Last weekend we went wine tasting and that was really fun.

I am open to lots of ideas, I would just like to find something that is unique and fun...and not too expensive :o)

  • What's a fun Halloween movie to watch on Tuesday?

I have some friends coming over on Tuesday (Halloween) for dinner, passing out candy, visiting, and watching a movie to get us into the Halloween mood. We recently watched Sleepy Hollow and Hocus Pocus, so those two are out. Some of my friends don't like really scary, but are all adults and so don't need kiddy movies. Any suggestions for a fun/cool movie we could watch that everyone would enjoy and would put us in the Halloweeny mood?

  • Where is a "good" place to meet men looking for a long-term relationship?

I have never really been in the dating scene before, but suddenly find myself in it because my boyfriend of 3 and a half years suddenly left me out of the blue. I am 28 and am looking for a quality guy who is interested in a relationship that could become long-term. I'm not into going to bars and clubs particularly. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can meet nice guys?

Specifically, I live in Sacramento, California, but I am open to general suggestions as well as specific locals.
