I've seen a lot of comments about WAR being an awesome stat, but the 2011 AL leader was Ben Zobrist. Could anyone explain its value with examples?

His defensive numbers are the best of any SS in history, and offensively he's done much better than many hall of famers including Aparicio and Ozzie Smith. But, will all of this count in such an offensive orientated voting these days? My bet is, he'll get in via the Vetarans Committe one day.Your thoughts?

I'm relocating soon, but since I come from Venezuela I have to buy all these appliances, because of the voltage being 220-240.
