p.s. I'm talking about undergrad, so you can't major in Speech Pathology. (that's for graduate school)

I'm thinking about this as my major and, reading up on it, it seems that a lot of the major deals with other languages besides English; however, English is the only language I am fluent in. Will this be an issue? (I want to eventually become a speech therapist, if that helps.)

when jean valjean sees fantine beaten up on the floor, he decides to help her. he says that he recalls seeing her before, and says "what have i done," like he had hurt fantine in some way. i don't understand how he knows her. is he helping her to make up for something he had done to her in the past? is he just doing it out of the kindness of his heart? what was his motivation for adopting cosette?

well basically i have been friends with a girl for 3 years. this is the fourth year of our friendship. i have always thought of us as really close, even at one time called her one of my best friends. but lately it feels like we've seriously drifted apart. we never fought about anything, its just that she's friends with people i don't know, and the opposite. we are both seniors in high school, so i wonder if its the saying that "everybody changes senior year" which i have heard so often. idk, i just feel like we are not friends like we used to be. neither of us make an effort to talk to the other person or hang out. we just don't have anything in common anymore. do you think this is a friendship worth saving? what am i supposed to do in this situation?
