  • How to get job experience when everyone wants someone already experienced?

My husband finished an accounting and payroll course, and has sent out hundreds of resumes. He graduated with honours, He is willing to start at the bottom, but everyone wants experience. How is he supposed to get the experience when no one will even give him a chance?

Has anyone else had this happen? And, what did you do?

  • 19 yr old daughter doesn't spend enough time with her son..see add.details?

They both live at home with us. She was such a good mom when he was first born 14 mos. ago. She is working full time and we (grandparents) babysit him while she is at work. Lately she wants to go out with her friends all the time. When she does take him with her, she isn't looking after him. He wakes up crying at least 2 hours before she gets out of bed to feed him. She has to be told to do his laundry, and clean up after him. if we say too much, she threatens to leave and take him away. And we know he won't be cared for properly if this happens. She has been like this all her life with pets too. Once the novelty has worn off, they were discarded. We would take him in a heartbeat if she signed over custody to us, but we feel that we shouldn't be doing everything for her and him and then be threatened that she will take him away. Any suggestions as to what we should do? He is a good baby, no crying, he's smart, happy, playful and just a joy to be around.

  • Anyone used the "patch" birth control?

My daughter can't take the pill, and I was wondering what the effectiveness of the patch birth control is.

She already had a baby at 17, and doesn't want another one for a long time yet.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks

  • Ten year old step-daughter is starting to develop, and her mother hasn't told her about the facts of life yet.

I mentioned this to her mother, and got told to mind my own business that it is her daughter, not mine. I'm just worried that she is going to be scared to death if anything happens. The step-daughter is very immature anyways, but her body is starting to develop. her mother "babys" her.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I go ahead and have a talk with her. Her dad (my husband) wants her to be informed but I'm not sure it should be us who does this, or leave it up to her mother.

  • If the father of a child hasn't seen the child since birth, what are his rights by law?

My daughter had a baby, and told the father about the baby but he has made no attempt to see the baby. What are his rights if he shows up years down the road?
