I have a Dell XP 410 desktop that is not wireless and a brand new laptop that is wireless. I have broadband through a modem that sits right next to the desktop. I bought a wireless router that I know to be compatible with all of these. Can I use just the router for wireless connection or do I need a wireless adaptor for the desktop in addition to the router? I have researched this beyond reason, but cannot find a simple yes or no to what seems like a simple question. All answers seem to get bogged down in so extra much techie talk and my mind does not operate in a techie way so I really need to have it kept 'stupid simple'!

I am watching an item on ebay that shows 6 bids. When I look at the bidding history I see one person has placed multiple bids of 7.00 for this item at different increments of time. No other bids for different amounts have been placed by anyone else.. Are they trying to make it look like there is a lot of competition or is there another reason I see this?

I recently read that our government has a list Chinese manufacturers that includes safe and unsafe companies. I know not to put faith in such a thing and would'nt even trust our governments take on one but I'd like to look at one if anyone knows of a web posting.

My dog loves the taste of candied ginger. I give him the uncrystallined form so there is no sugar coating. So many things are poisinous to dogs, I want to be sure this is safe. The stuff is so spicy, I don't know why, but he seems to crave it.

I have an email from Borders.com that I keep because there it contains a page I refer to frequently. I have opened this many times without a problem, however last time I opened it the page instead showed a long winded diatribe about immigrants abusing the social security system. Whatever! I wonder how this spam took the place of the usual content I always saw and if I should report this spam intrusion to someone- Yahoo? Borders?

Back to my search for the bakery cookie- peanut butter with milk chocolate center- I was'nt clear obviously-sorry! These cookies are round ball shaped, with milk chocolate totally encased inside. I do have the peanut butter kiss recipe and it is delicious, but different from what I'm looking for now. Thanks again.

A cookie bakery kiosk in the mall sold peanut butter cookies that were chewy and round and had a big chunck of milk chocolate in the center. The bakery left the mall so I can't get my fix and I'd love to have the recipe.

I am in the nursing field. As a consequence of daily heavy lifting, I have chronic joint, tendon and muscle pain. Anyone with experience or professional knowledge of these therapies willing to nudge me in one direction or another regarding effectiveness?
