The movie follows a painting and its many owners as the painting is passed along over the years.

I saw this with my son who is jaded by SAW 1, 2,3, etc. and did not "get it".
I loved everything about it - the story, the mood, the cinematography, the acting...looks liken nothing that an American studio can produce - although i know the rights to remake the film in US have been purchased.
Are there any other films that are similar that you would recommend?

I saw it twice in a week.
The story of a drunk one-time great attorney finding redemption just struck me.
Not to mention his closing argument.
