i have been (renting a room) living with my land lord for almost 3 years and now she wants to sell the house. when i moved in (3 years ago) she said if i leave, just give her a month's notice, pay the last month, and move out.

recently my landlord told me she was selling the house and i had 6-12 MONTHS before i had to leave. so i was not looking hard for another place. but, just today, she told me i have until end of august to move out (about 6 weeks). i was able to find a place to move to before the end of july, but she insists i have to pay her for august because that would be the 30 day notice.

heres the problem, i'm not moving out on my terms (i thought i still had 6 months), instead, i'm moving out because of her terms. she told me i had to go and i have 6 weeks to do so, AND she wants her last month's rent for august, but i can be out before the end of the this month (july). DO I OWE HER THE ONE MONTH'S NOTICE for august?

my view is, i'm not the one who wants to leave under my terms (thus i would give her the 1 month notice). my land lord is the one who gave me the 6 week notice and she wants to me to pay for the full 6 weeks (because that in her view will cover the 1 month notice), but i can be out of there in 10 days before the new month. is this right? do i owe her one more month rent since i'm being asked to leave, and my departure isn't under my terms, rather under hers? it doesn't seem right.

other days. i really like her and she knows that, is she just messin with me? does she like me back? should i keep pursuing her or move on?

i met this awesome girl recently and i really like her a lot. i finally got her number when she called me. i called her back, we talked for a couple of hours, and before we hung up, i asked her to call me back on the weekend. well, the weekend passed without a call. does this mean she's not interested? should i call her back, or will this just annoy her?

ive been talkin to this awesome girl and we have everything in common, but she's hard to read. how should i approach her to have a drink or go to dinner besides simply asking her "lets go out for a drink?"

i dont even know if she's interested in going out. would calling me on the phone qualify as being interested?

saying that you are younger than you really are? is this dishonest or acceptably dishonest, or does it matter? (say mid 20's vs. late 20's and she's in the early 20's)

like: do i have to place my napkin on my lap, can't i just use the table cloth or your shirt? AND DONT USE CULTURE AS AN EXCUSE!
