My Fans List, Thank You, and Why?
I truly Appreciate those of you that have added me to your Contact List and are part of my Fan List. I know I have answered a lot of your questions in private emails, and a lot of you are very appreciative--and that makes it worthwhile. However, I was wondering what prompted you to add me in the first place. This was a question that was brought up by a member of the Yahoo team, and I told them I really didn't know. So I am asking it now-- Was it a paticular answer I gave that you found helpful, having a high best answer rate, being listed in the top 10 list---because I will likely drop off that list in the future and someone else will takeover. Or was it something else entirely. For those of you on my fan list, rest assured I will always try to answer your emails first, Thanks.
3 AnswersTennis1 decade agoPreserving Pastel Artwork?
I have 12 beautiful Pastel portraitures and am kind of
worried about their proper care and preservation. I
have very little knowledge in this area, but have
learned not to use a fixative because the sheen and
brightness of the art is often lost. I am looking for
the most economical means to acheive a museum like
state of preservation. I am in northern CA if that helps, but I am looking for professional help. Can anyone recommend someone that can help me in this endeavor.
2 AnswersOther - Visual Arts1 decade agoScouting an Opponent / Match Notes?
I would like to know the level of detail some of you have when scouting an opponent. When you watched your future opponent play, what specifically did you take notes on. Or, If you are a coach, what would you tell your player on how to beat this opponent your watching...what would you tell them to prepare for their match. If you have a NTRP rating, please include that in your answer, so I can correlate your answer with your level of play. Example-- 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, Open Class-- I appreciate all of your answers.

2 AnswersZoology2 decades agoWhy Do Networks lie to the Public when there is no need PART 2?
There has been a trend in Network Television to stage events to film peoples reaction. Some of these go to far, Staging a kidnapping to see if people rush to help is a serious risk to everybody involved. Also I have seen News reports where there is a group of militants standing around while cameras get in position, then when they are queued that the cameras are rolling, they start yelling and thrusting their guns in the air. It seems nowadays that 25% of all news is embellished or staged or misleading to some degree. Its like when reporters interview people and after aout 7 or 8 they are bound to find someone with a contrarian view so they put that person on the air and say "well the people of _____ have spoken" Back to you. Viewers are being manipulated and yet there is no policing of the media. They can slant an issue or spin what was said just like a lawyer or politician and no one holds them accountable. Unless you count a retraction written in microprinting. Your Thoughts
4 AnswersTelevision2 decades agoWhy do Networks Lie when there is no Need TO???
I have learned that on an early year of American idol that there was a close voting between a good looking contestant and one that did not look as good. Even though the not so good looking person garnered a few more votes, the network decided to have them as the low total because the other performer was a better for the ratings and could ultimately sell more records and someone decided that performer needed more exposure. They basically lied to the public about who lost, now because of a confidentiality agreement they can't come forward because they would be liable for damages. Also look for part two--
2 AnswersTelevision2 decades agoINTERNATIONAL or NBA rules.?
Which do you think makes for better basketball. The NBA style where traveling, jump steps, and palming of the ball are allowed. Pros: more scoring, fan excitement. 2. The International rules where it requires more basketball skills to score. Pros: fundamentals and skills, physical players need real basketball skills to compete, closer three point line.

3 AnswersTennis2 decades agoUltimate Tennis Exhibition who would win???
Give an answer for each matchup. First the women Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Lindsay Davenport, Maria Sharapova, and Amelie Mauresmo. They play singles against John McEnroe who is fresh off his ATP doubles championship. He plays one woman per week. The women get to use all the court including the doubles alley. The women get three serves every point and McEnroe gets only one. Does McEnroe lose every match, beat some players and lose to others, wins every match. Your opinion on what I see as a fairly even contest.

I read somewhere that having red hair was a dominant trait, so why is the population of red haired people at least equal to those of blonde hair?
3 AnswersMedicine2 decades agoWhy haven't Sharks and Crocodiles evolved into more intelligent animals??
Sharks and Crocodiles have essentially remained very similar to their present day form over millions of years. Why don't they have more complex communication patterns like that of Orcas and Dolphins?
