The setting has come loose from the ring part of one of my rings. I have taken it to a jeweler before for them to fix it but it was expensive considering how little they had to do.

Can I fix it with my soldering iron? Does a soldering iron get hot enough to heat sterling silver? I don't think I can really mess up the ring. The repair won't show.

While cleaning out my Beta's bowl the other day, he jumped ship and landed in the bottom of the sink drain. The area was too small for me to get my fingers in to rescue him so I used chopsticks (No sushi jokes please) Anyway, when I put him back in the bowl I noticed that his lower fin got split. Will it "heal" itself? Is he going to die? I know this sounds dumb over a $3.00 fish but I have had him a long time.

I have purchased the whole second season of Lost from iTunes. BUT, it has taken all day and it is only on episode 5 of 22. Can I stop it, watch the four that are done and download more tomorrow? This is my first time doing this so I really don't know what I am doing.

I just bought the Jergen's kind. It smells yummy but I don't really see a difference. I wondered if anyone has had luck with them (even if its a different brand).

I am looking for a record from between 1979-1983 called "Pretend" or maybe it was "Let's Pretend". I got it at a book fair at school. There were songs like "We are little ants" "I'm the angry giant" and "Me and My shadow". I have scoured eBay and every search engine. I have sent messages to record dealers.

1) have your heard of it?

2) Any suggestions on sites/people to check with?

I know with a 3" floppy you can save and save and save and it is basically OK. But what about a RW disk. I don't want to lose important information but I need to keep adding to some files. Help!!!

how bad to they really hurt? Where is a less painful place to put one? black and white vs. color. Does color last or eventually fade?
