I sleep most of the day. I even fall asleep at the computer. I am running a low temp. but get chills at times and the temp is still low. About two weeks ago I got this really strange cough. It is almost like a clearing of the throat, but it's a cough that is productive, but clear. My ears have to be "popped" continuously due to what feels like cabin pressure. About a month ago I had to have a stress test for pain in my chest. Everything was fine. I have RA, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Epilepsy. My meds are: Topamax 150 mg a day; Lamictal 400 mg. a day; prozac 40 mg a day; requip 40 mg a day; xanax 10 mg. as needed.

We're either at my friend's house (my whole family) or her and her daughter's at my house every evening! This all started back when she kicked her husband out this last time and he stayed gone. That was around last October. In November,we had to stay with them for 1 1/2 months due to heat problems at our house

It seems that the only one around here that doesn't have a family now is me. They laugh (my hubby and my friend) and cut up and joke around, but I can joke around in the same exact fashion with my hubby and he will get mad as hell at me.

She asks him to fix stuff around her house and he jumps right on it. She'll ask him to cut grass and he will. Our grass is sky high.It takes forever to get anything done. Her mom,dad,& brother live beside her.

I have a lot of medical conditions and have to rely on my family more than I want, but I don't think I deserve to be treated like this.He got real upset when I told him we needed to take a break from her. What do you think? Please help

I'm not sure where to start. This has always been an interest to me and would like to know what all is required.

My chest feels like there is pressure on it that is not relieved by the way I stand, sit, or lie down. I get this weird tingly feeling going up my neck into my lower jaw that comes and goes. At times I feel like I'm going to vomit, but I'm not sick on my stomach. I have been taking Nexium in case it is just indigestion. It hasn't helped. This started yesterday after a stress test and has slowly increased in intensity in the past 4 hours. Please answer soon.

I had to have a stress test done, but mine couldn't be done on the treadmill, so they hooked me up to this machine and then told me that they were going to put some stuff in me to make my heart rate speed up and that there would be some discomfort. Right after they did this I got this unbearable pressure on my chest with pain going all the way up into my jaw it made my whole face (teeth and all clench in pain) then it went down my left arm like it was on fire. I was screaming at them to stop it that I was having a heart attack and they said I was fine that they were slowing everything down then.After they did that, everything went back to normal. I have never - ever experienced anything like that in my life.

This has been about 2 years ago and since then I have found out that my Twaves on my EKG are inverted. Does this mean that I could've had a heart attack then? Do I need to get a 2nd opinion from cardiologists from a completely different hospital? I'm confused as to what to do.

My sister is starting to go through menopause and her doctor put her on an antidepressant. It is helping, but my sister is also morbidly obese and I know that Topamax is used for other things than just epilepsy and migraines. It is also used for bipolar disorder along with other things. Does anyone know personally or if this is medically possible to be treated with topamax for mood swings associated with menopause?

Her doctor put her on an antidepressant for the mood swings and it has helped, but I think it has helped others with depression and it has certainly helped my depression and the mood swings that i have due to the depression. I have also lost over 40 pounds due to the Topamax and I also think that would be of help to my sister. What do you think?

What other conditions are associated with hidradenitis suppurativa?

I and thousands of people have a disease called Hidradenitis Suppurativa. It is an excruciatingly painful, horrific, scarring disease that affects both men and women (usually starting around 15 or so,but can happen anytime after puberty). I started taking topamax in December for epilepsy and I have lost almost 40 lbs without even trying. I am never hungry and I have to remind myself to eat ( I have forgotten to eat on several occassions). Now my period has stopped and I don't know if this is normal after losing this amount of weight or is this a side effect of Topamax or could this be something unrelated. No, I'm not pregnant.

Since I had to start taking topamax for my epilepsy back in December I have lost over 40 lbs. and 4 to 8 sizes depending on the manufacturer. My period has stopped altogether. Granted, I needed to lose the weight but I have even had to remind myself to eat something a day and make sure I drink fluids since I don't get hungry or thirsty. Is this normal?

My leg jerk and almost resembling a kick but it doesn't happen all the time, but does happen every day.It's involuntary and painful.I have had epilepsy since I was 11 and don't think there is a connection there because I've had grand mal and petit mal seizures and this is nothing like them.I"ve even tried to sit on my leg while in the car and almost threw myself to the driver just by the jerking motion.I will turn over during the night and get a horrible case of the hiccups. I never get the hiccups and now they wake me from a dead sleep and I may have them for 30 to 40 minutes. I also have Restless Leg Syndrome on Requip and Skelaxin for it, but it does nothing for the jerking once it starts. Other meds are Lamictal, topomax, prozac, tricor, zetia, vicoden. I have RA, RLS, Hidradenitis Suppurativa,COPD,asthma,epilepsy.

I had an EKG come back abnormal about 6 months ago,so I was put in the hospital and has a cardiac workup done including the holter monitor. I was then sent to a cardiologist who wanted to do a cath to check for blockages and damage. Since I had surgery in the legs he had to do it a different way. I was told that everything looked fine except that I had some enlargement on the left side of my heart but no blockages. In january I was at another hospital and had an EKG done and again was told that my twaves were introverted. I told that dr. that all that had gone on and he said he wanted me on the baby asprin just to be on the safe side and suggested that I get a second opinion.I am already on a lot of other meds and one that contains a high dose of tylenol and that worries me.What do you think?

He hates everyone else even my family. He tolerates them, but will snap at my husband in a heart beat. I have 2 diseases that cause me a lot of pain and keeps me in the bed alot and I also have epilepsy. He is never in the bed with me, but always at the side of my bed or right under my bed. He even follows me to the bathroom. How can I get my dog to like the rest of my family?

I am debating taking the place of a owner that needs to leave a support group and the group needs a new owner. What is involved and are there any costs involved to take over as owner. I have never done anything like this so your help is really needed.
