what are your views on group marriage.?
I like having variety of WOMEN ONLY without having to feel like i'm cheating on them. This is one of the reason i remain single. but if i found an open minded GOOD woman and a a group of couples who are into it, i think it will be great. So i wanted to know other people's views. This is a serious question.

5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHow do you explain to an almost 5yr old that her supposed sister wont be around anymore?
Before my lil girl traveled with her mom, i was in a serious relationship with a woman with children. all the kids were so close that they refer to each other as sisters. So now that my daughter is back, she asked me where her sisters and second mom are. I told her that they are no longer here. She told me she missed them, and went on to ask if they have traveled and when they will be back. I told her maybe someday. I don't lie, but that was the only thing that came from y mouth. I feel bad telling her that, knowing that her "sisters" are now out of her life and she will probably never see them again. I know there are sometimes in life even parents can't be perfect, but how do you explain such thing to a child? I am so not experienced in that area, so any advice?

5 AnswersFriends1 decade agoclosure from my Ex fiance?
So i met my now Ex fiance today for this first time in a couple of weeks. She finally told me face to face that she does not want us to work out. I actually wanted us to work but she doesn't. If you want to know more just go back n read some of my other questions especially the last 2. My previous question was about my 5 stages of grief. So i guess you could call this closure. The odd thing is that I don't feel bad. Don't get me wrong i love her very much, but she constantly accuse me of being with a good friend of mine who also happens to be an ex gf. But we are nothing but just friends, nothing past that. Back to my Ex fiance. my question is, have I finally come to my acceptance stage? I have tried and tried and she refuse to believe that i love her that much and no other woman means anything to me. I am not happy because i lost the woman i love, but I am not sad either, because she will never stop running long enough to look at the good things in front of her. So have i finally got to the point of acceptance where i can officially move on? any advice will be appreciated.
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade ago5 Stages of Grief after my woman left.?
So the woman i love left and this is what i went through.
DENIAL: I actually couldn't get over the fact that my woman was leaving. Not for cheating, or being a good father to her kids, but rather for lies that i DIDN't make.
ANGER: I was so angry to find out that she was spending time with another guy and has been going on for months behind my back. Not to mention giving the keys to this guy to come to our home and take my stuff that i bought (from my sweat n blood of hard work) to her new place that i dont know where it is. Also the bills that were to be taken care of were not paid, so i had to catch up on all of them.
BARGAINING: Of all that had happend i asked her to come back and lets start fresh because i actually love this woman despite all but 1 in my family wanting nothing to do with her for what she did.
DEPRESSION: since I dont drink or do drugs or take any meds other than the 1 prescribed, i have watched myself dwindle down. Went days without eating until a friend of mine came to scream at me (she actually bought food and forced me to eat). Lost weight (i needed to anyway, but with exercise not depression). i actually went and cleaned my dad's yard and gutters, and did stuff i usually dont do. All this time my house is a mess from when this girl moved, and didnt bother to clean up.
ACCEPTANCE: Now this is the tricky part. I know i have to move on. I have been this low in my life before and i always get back on my feet. Sh8T, Am The African for crying out loud, i wont be broken. i know what i have to do, i just need to get my butt up and do it. My daughter will be here in a couple of days. she will never see her father like this. It's time for me to accept the fact that she didnt love me and it's over. Time to move on to the next chapter.
So how did u go through a loss? and anything u can help with in doing the ACCEPTANCE thing will be helpful.
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agocheating fiance wont even face me to explain?
it was just two days ago that my fiance (now ex-fiance as of yesterday) agreed to really fix our relationship. I found out last night that she was cheating on me. I suspected it, but it was confirmed yesterday. We were suppose to spend time together, only to find out she was out with another guy. I am so devastated about it. She refuse to answer my calls or txt. She claimed to have moved out to fix our relationship, but the only thing she has done is be with another guy. i guess that's y she never told me where she lives. i know people cheat for many reasons. I just want to know why she would tell her man that we start fresh only to cheat on him the very next day?
6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agowhat are the chances?
if a woman says tells her man that she has been talking with some guy for since the beginning of the year about her problems because her man was not there to listen (supposedly). She has been going to this guy's ball games instead of spending time with her man, and yet says that nothing has happened between them, and she still loves her man. What are the chances that she is or has fallen for this new person, or sleeping or planning to sleep with this person? And what are the chances that this guy is waiting or planning to sleep with this woman who is having emotional issues?
As a man, the first thing that comes in mind with a woman getting attention from another guy (while she has) is that she is becoming an easy prey. A guy given her attention can easily lead to sex. But i want to know other people's opinion.

6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoshould i stay in this relationship on cut my cost and move on?
So my so-called fiance and I have been having arguments lately, that ended up with her leaving. her reason is that she wants to work out the relationship while living separately. i was raised to believe that in a relationship you only walk away after you've tried everything unsuccessfully to save it, so walking away is a 1 way trip.
Don't get me wrong, we are both at fault. I haven't given much family time, but not because am lazy. i work full time and nursing school full time, so stress and frustration comes easily with the territory. but i did tell her this before being together.
She wants more family time, which i couldnt give, even though i spend time with the kids at home instead of library.
She left me with the household bills in an apartment too big for me alone. She said she has almost fallen out of love with me and leaving will help us solve our problems ( i don't get it).
i keep thinking what the chances are, that if we get married and every time there is a problem (and there will be many), she will walk away without a though of the damages (financially and emotionally) she leaves behind. I dont have the luxury of doing such thing. I believe in doing what is right, rather than what you want (most of the time). Makes me wonder why I should marry her. The more time passes, the less i am interested in her. I want your input on weather i should stay or cut my loses and move on. Though final decision is mine, any kind of advice will help.
6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoFunny yet serious question, please answer?
As i finally decide to start serious dating for a potential gf after a long divorce, i met this woman i thought was attractive and wanted to get to know. She decided to drive since she said she doesn't know me well and doesn't want anything bad to happen. i agree and let her drive. Well she got pulled over by police and they found out there was a warrant on her for unpaid ticket. So i had to watch them handcuff her and haul her to jail. I drove her car back to my apartment and called her mom about it. Since it's a holiday weekend, she won't get out till Tuesday. This happened yesterday. Do u have anything worse than mine? Also, since it was just a ticket, should i overlook it and still go out with her? I kinda understand because it has happened to me before (but not on a date), and that was one of the worst 8 hours of my life.

3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agowhy is it that most dads get the back end of the deal?
why is it that most dads get the back end of the deal when it comes to children? My daughter's mother is a great parent just as i am, but a terrible wife. i pay voluntary child support, not because of court or anything, but because my daughter is my responsibility, for i brought her into this world and it's my job to take care of her. She's only 10 months, and i let her mother take her to another continent for a job while we figure out how we are going to share responsibilities. I wanted to keep her here, but listening to how much her mother is complaining how she does not see herself being that far away from her child, plus using the "i want to breast feed her for a whole year before stopping." For the health of the baby i had to make that hard choice. I don't want to be away from my child either, so how come it's the dads who mostly get the back end of that deal?
12 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agowhy do people get married and .....?
complain that they love somebody else. Are family values so F'ed up that people take marriage for granted? Why get married if you are not willing to tatally give yourself to your spouse. Our parents and grand parents did a far better job than us they they say that we are evolving. What is your opinion.
8 AnswersMarriage & Divorce2 decades agoMy old sex buddy?
So this old girl that i used to sleep with, with no questions asked called me and we ended up chatting for some time. We are both married to someone else but neither is having sex with their partner. So she asked that since our partners don't want to have sex with us and we are both sex addicts, why don't we resume what we had for the time being until our partners come to their senses. I strongly believe in my priciples of "No extramarital affairs," and have been faithful to it. But i also belive that sex is part of marriage, and I'm overdue for an oil change (if you get my drift). So you can tell how this offer does not sound bad. What do you think i should do?
