I'm doing a project for American Cultures, and we need 15 significant events that happened between those years.

Please don't say 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina.. everyone is doing them.

I had Algebra I in eighth grade, then last year, my freshman year, I had Geometry. This year I'll begin Algebra II.

I pretty much bombed at Geometry last year.

What can I do to prepare before school starts so the same doesn't happen to me this year?

Are there any websites I can go to that would help me learn basic information?

so tomorrow i am babysitting two boys - a 4 year old and 7 year old. what are some things i could do with them? nothing too extreme because it's at their house and i wouldn't feel right about that. i dont know these kids at all. i dont know the parents either. i'll meet them for the first time tomorrow. they already have a babysitter who can't watch them tomorrow so that's why i am. so yeah, i need some ideas of things i can do with them. like some activities ...

ok... so i need to find a project to do in order to get confirmed. we can do pretty much anything... i mean that would benefit the church or something like that. i just need ideas and i can get them approved by my pastor. we can already do some kind of paper cutting thing where we cut this thing out with an exacto knife and hang it in the church. thing is, i'm not the kind of person you'd want to leave with a knife && paper isnt exactly my thing. i was thinking of doing that 30 hour famine thing with world visions...? so yea... i need some more ideas though. they would really be appreciated! i mean, if all else fails i can always cut paper. wooohooo. haha, but really. please help! :) k.thanks.

these questions i guess are easy, but i wasnt in class for the first part of the experiment, so i really need help. so we're studying physical and chemical changes on... well stuff cause idk really what we're doing... aaaanyways, we're like mixing chemicals and adding stuff to them and answering questions about them and what kind of change [physical or chemical] we observed while we did each thing. yea, this is probably really easy for someone with half a brain, but i am seriously not smart... so yea. here are the questions. and i know this is wrong cause i'm not doing my homework by myself or whatever, but this is a group project anyway so other people would be giving me the answers except for the fact that they put me in charge of these.... alright, but here are the questions:

our algebra teacher is letting us organize our own activities for Pi Day (which is March 14th [3.14]). she appointed a student "chairperson" and told us that we as a class should submit ideas to the "chairperson" and come up with things to do on the day. students who contribute to the organization of the activities will get extra credit points. obviously all of the activities have to do with "pi" (...stuff like circles or actual PIE). i have found some ideas, but they are more for third or fourth graders. we are in eighth grade. can someone help me find somethings to do? our class period is only 45 minutes long, so it cant be time consuming, and again, my teacher said anything dealing with both pi and pie.

ok, so the project is simple, and if i would've listened in science class instead of passed notes, i would already be done. our class is basically making our own periodic table or something and we each have been assigned three elements. each element has to be on its own 5 by 5 card with the symbol of the element, the element name, the atomic number, and the atomic mass written on the front of the card. then on the back there has to be the founder of the element, the origin of the element*, the year it was found, states it can be found in (solid liquid gas or plasma) is it metal, nonmetal, or metalloid, 3 common uses of the element, physical characteristics** and chemical characteristics*** of the element.

*i'm not sure what my teacher mean by the "origin" cause once again, i dont listen. is it where it was found or the origin of the word?

ok, we can basically use anything (except a kit). the only way the car can go is if u set off the trap. uhmm.... the furthset one gets extra credit points. i guess that's it! Pllleeeeaassse hellpp!! =]

He is one of my really good friends, but if i ask him to be my boyfriend, he might say no and it could seriously ruin things. And you have to rwalize we are only 13 and in 7th grade! The only way i know to ask him is through my friends. And yes, i have realized that guys are not themselves around their guy friends. Rich/poor-Christian/Jewish-Large families/Small Families-Educated/Non-Educated-Employed/Unemployed-----This is for a geography project. We have to pretend we are exchange students going to another country and we hav to keep a daily journal. This project requires ten entries in the journal. The family is made up and so are their jobs, but, they have to be accurate and real. So i cant say for instance, that the dad of the family works at a chocolate factory if Slovinians have never even heard of chocolate. I am only on my third entry and i am wondering, do the wives of the families work, how much of an education do the children get, Where would they work, how old do they have to be when they start working. There is a boy in the made up family and i have him going to work with his fathr. The boy is eight years old. is thi accurate?
