I like this girl who lives upstairs from my apartment. So, yesterday evening, I knocked on her door and gave her a box of holiday cookies, and an ornament with some Hershey's kisses. I wished her and her roommate a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I included my e-mail and phone number on the gift tags, hoping that she would reciprocate by sending me a thank you e-mail or call or even a text message. Alas, I have not received any of those from her.

She was pleasantly suprised when I gave her the gifts, buuut I don't think she sees me as anything more than just a friendly neighbor dude (that's just how I'm feeling). She probably isn't interested in going out on a date with me. Othewise, she would have sent me a thank you note at least. Your thoughts?

I'm applying for another job, because my organization is currently facing financial crises. Will that me sound like a quitter (for jumping ship) or disloyal?

Can I say in the application, that I'm leaving my because I feel that the job I'm applying for has a better future?

I joined a Yahoo! Fantasy Football Plus league, and I think that our league commissioner is corrupt.

He has colluded with another player, and make all sorts of adjustment with impunity. As an added insult, he likes to say "this is my league, you're playing in my house."

What can I do?

I live in Central California, and I'm thinking about taking a vacation in Eureka CA. Is that a great place for a vacation? What are some wonderful things to do there? Which is a good hotel to stay in Eureka?
