I left my car battery light on overnight and obviously the car battery died. Its a month old car though, a brand new VW GTI....always forget to turn off the light since the lights are always on and "turning" the light on only turns the dashboard lights on and doesnt turn off when i turn my car off...if that makes any sense....anyways, will i need to get my car a new battery, once again, this being a month old car and essentially a month old battery.

I just got a 2010 VW GTI with DSG. I wanted to use the paddle shifters, not necessarily to shift from gear one to gear two using tiptronic mode but for situational use in D or even S.

Ex, when i was test driving the car, the dealer said there would be instances when i could use it to slow the car down or speed it up without the breaks only using the paddles, but i dont recall exactly how
