I worked for Wal-Mart from 1997-1999 and bought stock via their employee stock option. I think that I cashed out my stocks when I left, but I really can't remember. Anyone know how I can check?

Has anyone ever heard of this site? My best friend is trying to find a personal loan with bad credit. She came across this site in her internet search. Apparently, you pay to post a listing for a loan request and allegedly lenders may chose to help you based on your listing. I had never heard of this site prior to her mentioning it to me, and I can't seem to find any reviews on it anywhere. They claim to have been around for a while, but the only place I find any information on them is from their own site. If anyone has had any dealings with them, positive or negative, I would appreciate any feedback.

Did anyone else hear that Eddie Murphy is marrying a spice girl? Is it just me, or does anyone else feel... I don't even know the word for it!

I am looking to relocate to the San Francisco Bay area. I have looked at several cities, but now have an opportunity for employment in Union City. Does anyone have any opinions of this city. If you don't or if you aren't fond of Union City, can you suggest some place else in the not too distant area that I may investigate.

What exactly is slugging percentage and how is it calculated?

My mother has bad credit and is looking for a personal loan. She has spoken with three companies that have offered to help her. They each advised her that she would have to pay to insure the loan. She is attempting to borrow $15,000 and the three companies are asking for around $1,300 dollars to insure the loan. I have heard of companies requesting insurance on a loan, however I have never heard of making such a payment up front. The three companies that she is speaking with are:

American Investments

First National Credit Corporation

Mitchell Brokers, EZ Loan Institution

Has anyone ever heard of these companies? Are they legit? Has anyone ever paid insurance for a loan up front, and if so are the amounts they are asking for reasonable?

Ok, we have two very wealthy, handsome men. Prince William will be the King of England and Prince Andrea stands to be the Crown Prince of Monaco. Why are Americans so much more interested in William? Prince Andrea is (in my opinion) far more handsome and he comes from American stock. His grandmother, Grace Kelly, was/is an American screen icon. His mother, Princess Caroline of Hanover is technically an American citizen by virtue of her mother’s citizenship. So, what gives? Why is it you almost never hear anything about this gorgeous, dynamic, wealthy Prince?

I am not married to any of those choices, just that it be in the Bay area. I will be working for the City of Sunnyvale and don't want to be more than 30 or 40 miles from work. I would appreciate any help here. Oh, and if you have any specific ideas on where I should rent (as far as apartments, condos, or town houses) that would also be a great help!
