I already have two regular directv dvr's hooked up to DVD recorders, but when I ordered my third one, it is a direct tv DVR plus. It has the two lines coming in from the satellite, but it does not have anything going back out except the composite cords. I also have an older television set that requires one of those external boxes for composite cords.

I hate to say this, but it's true. I'm an old lady and I can get easily confused. So saying that, if you know how I could possibly get this to work, please give me simple step-by-step directions.

I have checked the directions in my DVD recorder, and it is absolutely no help, because I do not have a separate cord coming out of my DVR plus for antenna out. I was never given a manual with my DVR plus, so no help there.

I have been working with this for nearly 2 months, trying so many different combinations that I found on the internet, and nothing seems to work. Hoping someone on here will be able to find a solution that works.

I had a friend just email me, wanting to know if I thought her Aunt Martha's embroidery transfers could be too old to use. She said they are not transferring. Does anyone happen to know this answer. Also, is there any way to help them work?

I'm looking to buy a 1970ish vintage rotary wall phone. I currently have Verizon wireless home phone and not sure if they would work together.

I just know I saw it advertised to be on TV tonight, but I had to work late and didn't get to see it. I am sure it was tonight. I've looked on the tv listings and couldn't find it. I know it was supposed to be on in the hours like 8 to 10 pm east coast time.

I am trying to help my grand-daughter with a quiz and she needs to unscramble the word uptorlegasen. This is suppose to be connected to Harry Potter.

I have cleaned out all the unnecessary programs from the start menu, I have done a defrag and deleted all programs I never use. The hard drive was only half full before I deleted the programs.

This just started last night. The computer usually startes up a little slow, but now it is taking 10 minutes or more.

I have a Dell Laptop, if that matters.

Any ideas? Hope the hard drive isn't going out. Could that be it?

My husband was interviewed on TV and I would like to save the file from the webcast. The page doesn't have a separate URL. It is just listed under video's. I have tried several methods with no success since it doesn't have it's own URL.

I have just about decided my great grand mother must have been hatched. I can find little to nothing on her. I don't have access to Ancestry.com and have tried everything else. I have been looking for her parents for years with no luck. Maybe someone out there can crack this case and solve this for me. Has anyone on here ever been hypnotized and had past life regression? If so, did you find a past life? Do you think it is real? I have read many very interesting stories on past life regression and would like to try it.

I am middled aged and found a sister that was given away before I was born. I found her in March of this year. There were also two brothers which were placed up for adoption, one raised with this sister and the other one alone.

I have been searching for these sibling for many years and now the newly found sister doesn't want me to contact the brothers. She refused to give me contact information, even thought she has it on both of them. I have found the brother that was adopted with her, but not the other one. I haven't contacted him yet because she said she doesn't want me to. My heart is breaking and I feel like sending her a letter and telling her I can no longer have contact with her and going ahead and contacting my brother and continuning searching for the other one.

Is she being fair to me? I feel it is jealousy on her part and that is the reason she doesn't want me to know the brothers.

My daughter is looking into buy a Palm Harbor double wide and finance it through their finance company. Any one out there know anything about these people? Her credit isn't perfect, so I'm not sure a bank wouldn't finance her. I'm just worried about financing through the seller.

A friend called and asked me the following. I don't know the answer.

She has been living in a home for one and one half years. She has a two year lease. The lease contract says the landlord pays the water bill. She said the landlord called her and told her that she had to start paying the water bill or get out. Isn't the landlord breaking the contract? If he is, does he owe her the remaining amount of money she have had to pay him for the lease? The landlord told her if she doesn't get the water in her name before July first, she has to move and then he said SHE would be breaking the contract and SHE would owe him the remaining $4000.00 that she would have paid in rent. This is in North Carolina. Anyone out there know? I don't have a clue.

I downloaded Yahoo Messenger with voice a few months ago. Today it has disappeared from my computer. I am the only one using my computer and I didn't delete it. Anyone ever have this happen and if so, how did you solve the problem, re-download it? I have probably lost all my contacts if I have to download it again.
