Google Chrome Question issue?
Many times when I hit the back button, it will not work and will open a new tab instead. Sometimes several tabs. It will also cause the computer to freeze.
I have done the following:
Multiple re-starts
Clear history
Disk cleanup
Ccleaner
Malware Bytes
McAfee scan
Clear Temp files
Google - reset settings to original defualts.
Nothing seems to help.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
1 AnswerGoogle3 years agoHow do I stop someone from sending me e-mails everyday?
This question sounds basic, but it is not so easy.
This one marketing company sends me "offers" everyday about the clients they represent. The companies are varied and include: Fidelity Life, Reverse Mortgage, Solar Savings, Choice Home Warranty, and many, many more!
This is going to my inbox and not my spam folder. I get about 2-5 per day.
I have clicked to move these to the spam folder; clicked on unsubscribe; and even written to the company whose privacy policy says they will remove me. Of course, they have not. When I click on Yahoo settings-block addresses, it says I have blocked 500 of 500 and can't block anymore. And, they use a different address each time.
Any ideas on how to get rid of these annoying people?
1 AnswerAbuse and Spam7 years agoNeed help with CT Scan results?
I have been experiencing headaches and mid-back pain for over a month now.
I went to a GI doc. who ran a Abdominal and Pelvic CT Scan. They said I need to follow up with my PCP or a Urologist. But, I won't be able to see my PCP for at least a few more days.
If you are in the medical field and know what this means, please comment.
Bilateral kidneys demonstrate symmetric enhancement and excretion. Mild asymmetric thickening of the right pararenal fascia, possible sequela of chronic inflammatory process. No evidence of acute pyelonephritis. No urinary calculus or hydronephrosis.

1 AnswerMedicine7 years agoQuestion on coffee and cortisol?
I have read that drinking coffee can raise your cortisol levels. Does anyone know if this is just regular coffee or can decaf. coffee have this effect as well?
Also, about how long will cortisol be elevated after drinking approximately 3 cups of coffee? A few hours? 6 hours? 24 hours?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

3 AnswersDiabetes7 years agoNeed help with tannins.?
I believe that tannins in coffee and tea may be adversely affecting my health. It would take too long to explain, but I had pancreatitis about 5 years ago and have had digestive problems. I have done numerous internet searches, but cannot seem to find the answers to the following questions:
1. Do decaf coffee and tea contain tannins?
2. What coffee alternatives are there that do not contain tannins?
Thanks.

1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoRelationship between DHT and growth hormone?
Is there a relationship between DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) and growth hormone?
I take several amino acids - Glutamine, Arginine and Lysine - that are known for raising growth hormone levels. However, I have noticed that I feel much better when I take saw palmetto as well, which is known to block DHT.
Please let your thoughts if you know about this or if this is just a coincidence.
Thanks!
1 AnswerAlternative Medicine8 years agoWhat should I do when my doctor and radiologist disagree?
My neurologist diagnosed me with Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome based on an MRI report. The MRI report specifically stated that I have enhancement in the cavernous sinuses consistent with T. H. Syndrome.
He then sent me to a neuro-opthamologist (N. O.) for further testing and treatment. The N. O. doc. reviewed the MRI disk/film and said that she disagrees with the findings of the neurologist & radiologist. She said that I basically have a normal MRI.
My question is: Is it appropriate to (1) call the radiologist and ask him to review the films again and re-issue the report or (2) should I just go see my neurologist again?
Thanks.

5 AnswersMedicine9 years agoIs there a relationship between a right elevated hemidiaphragm and Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome?
About 18 months ago I was told that I have a right elevated hemidiaphragm. I was referred to a pulmonologist. She said the nerve was paralyzed.
Last week, another doc sent me for a pituitary MRI because my LH & FSH levels were really low. It did not show a pituitary tumor, but the MRI report said, "Enhancement seen in the cavernous sinuses may represent inflammation such as can be seen in Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome."
So, could these be related?
I am seeing the neurologist tomorrow. Guess I am just anxious for an answer.
Thanks.

1 AnswerMedicine9 years agoCould my bile duct be blocked again?
Back in 2008 I had pancreatitis, followed by pancreatic abcess, followed by a blocked bile duct. I had a tube going through my liver and into the bile duct for about a month or so.
Everything has been going fine, but in the past month or so I have experienced EXTREME abdominal swelling as well as pain in the upper right quadrant. The only liver test that is off is the ALT which is only 5 points high. The GGT test is normal.
So, could I have a blocked bile duct again, or did the GGT test exclude that?
Thanks.

1 AnswerMedicine9 years agoWhat could be causing sharp abdominal pains?
I had necrotizing pancreatitis 3 years ago. They removed 1/3 of my pancreas.
I sometimes experience sharp pains in the upper abdomin that last for 12-24 hours, especially after exercise.
Thus far, my docs can't seem to find anything.
Thanks.

I believe that Fox News is hosting the debate, but thus far I have been unable to find out who the moderator(s) will be.
It is not listed on either the Fox website or the S. Carolina Republicans website.
Thanks.

2 AnswersMedicine10 years agoHow do the following herbs affect cortisol?
I believe that something is wrong with my adrenal glands. I won't go into detail on this, but I would like to know how the following herbs affect cortisol levels:
Licorice
Astragalus
Milk Thistle
Please respond by stating "raises cortisol level" or "lowers cortisol level." I have found conflicting information on this.
Also, I have found that Astragalus and Milk Thistle give me energy, while Licorice makes me more tired. If this makes sense to you, please respond.
Thanks!

3 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade agoQuestion about Aldosterone & Renin?
My endocrinologist ran tests to check aldosterone & renin levels.
The aldosterone came back <1 with a normal range of 0-30 per the lab form.
The renin result was 1.68. Cortisol was normal.
The doctor did not seem to be concerned, but these values seem to be low based on medical websites that I have seen.
Do these values seem low?
Thanks.

3 AnswersMedicine1 decade agoHow to I get all the windows to appear on the taskbar?
I am using another computer that does not have all the windows on the taskbar at the same time.
For example, on my regular computer I can see all open windows at the bottom of the screen on the taskbar. On this one, I have to move the cursor over the Internet Explorer Icon (Big E) and it will show what is open. This is quite annoying.
How can I change this?
Thanks.

Hello. I am 42 years old. I believe that my cortisol levels may be off.
I recently started taking potassium in the last few weeks and I feel much better.
So, does this indicate that my cortisol levels may be too high or too low?
Merry Christmas.

11 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade agoWhat are shallow inspirations?
I just had a chest x-ray. The nurse called me and said that I have "shallow inspirations." She didn't know what this meant, but said the doctor would explain next week. She even spelled it out so I could look it up.
I have been coughing for about 3 weeks now. Medicine doesn't seem to help. I have also had some side/flank pain off and on.
So what are shallow inspirations?
Thanks.
