I'm married, 31yrs old and have a 3yr old. My marriage has been pretty rocky (we've been married 7 yrs and been together a total of 18 yrs). I've thought about divorce more than a few times in the past year. I want to have another child and my husband is a good dad. My kids would have the same father this way. I don't expect a baby to fix our marriage and I know it will put more stress on it. He's not against having another child right now. Any suggestions?

My dad is an alcoholic. He's never been a mean drunk and he only drinks beer, but he's done it for yrs. He tried to quit a few times over the years-the last time was last summer for 3 months. Now he is worse than before. I'm reading an AA book and it says an alcoholic needs to decide when to quit, but this is ruining his relationship with my mom and with us kids. I'm also worried about his health. What are my options? What should I do?

I'm married- he's married. We've been friends forever. We got super close once to the point we admitted we had feelings for each other. I pushed him away for awhile because I was seeing the guy I'm married to and I was only hurting this guy. It took months for me to get over not talking to him everyday. Over the years we've come in contact and the atmosphere seems to be electric. At my wedding (7yrs ago) he asked if I was happy. I told him yes, but almost wished he would've told me how he felt. He got completely wasted at the wedding. He just got married in Oct. From the moment they announced they were getting married I wanted to tell him how I feel-that I never got over him. I was a mess at his wedding. I want him to be happy. I don't want to hurt him, but I want to know if he got over me and to tell him I didn't. Should I?

My son is very active and when he gets wound up sometimes I can't get him to sit long enough for a time out or he will scream or swat at me and get down as soon as I turn my back. What is the next punishment above a time out for a 3yr old?
