Just act normal. If you let just anyone know about your awareness of the legions in the unseen doing you biding, or the population shifts now being sparked by your very words, or the circumstances and events presently being crafted by your thoughts, you just might create the illusion that you're from a not-so-distant parallel star system, possessing mysterious powers, favored by fate, here to save the world. And, man-oh-man, you do not want that to happen. Just act normal. the Universe

  • URGENT! My employer is pummeling me verbally and emotionally ...?

I finally stood up to him and now am looking at a written warning. It has my signature block on it. I would like to refuse to sign but it will probably get me fired and there is no way I can handle that financially right now. Can I ammend my signature by putting something like "in dissagreement" underneath my sig?

  • Can you freeze asparagus?

It's on sale today for $1 a pound. Thought I would buy two or three pounds and freeze it. My instincts say to blanch it first and then freeze. Any advice?

  • The silent treatment?

he knows exactly how to hurt me...he goes completely silent and lets me believe it is over forever. I know it is not wise to pursue him 'cause this is how he gets his kicks but does anyone have any "untraditional" ways of getting some communication from him? (I've tried the phone, a text message and e-mail.) I feel like letting the air out of his tires but am too mature for that (I think).

  • What is the best way to addres a business letter to married couples?

I was taught that if you are writing a business letter to a married couple that the proper way to address it is, for example, "Mr. & Mrs. Joe Smith", using the husband's first name only. I have also been trained that even widows will continue to use the husband's name when the prefix "Mrs." is attached. It is important I get an expert's answer on this. No gut reactions or guesses, please. I need the correct professional business/formal answer. If you have a source you can name, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you

  • I am composing the company newsletter; is "congress" capitalized?

One sentence reads, "So, having a Democratic Congress might be more beneficial..." Should the word congress be capitalized? Later on in the document there is another statement "...this last Republican controlled Congress did not..." Again, should congress be capitalized? I have called the library, too... Thanks for your help.

  • Abnormal bleeding?

I stopped using Depo Provera for birth control and after better than 3 years of having no periods at all, I am now on 20 days straight of menstrual bleeding. Can anyone advise me of an herbal or homeopathic remedy to get the bleeding to stop?

  • Heavy menstrual bleeding after ceasing Depo Prova?

I stopped using Depo Provera for birth control nine months ago. I had very light, to no periods while I used it, which was for about 3 years. My last shot was November 05...I am just now having my first cycle since then. The problem is, I have now been bleeding for 18 days straight and sometimes very heavily. Is there anything I can do to curtail the bleeding and get back to a more normal cycle?

  • Why is "oh waaaa...boring" a violation?

It was bound to happen; I responded to one of those "oh why oh why did she leave me what can I do sob sob" whole page questions with the slightly sarcastic response of "oh waaaa...boring" and reported for violation. (Not a question or answer was their excuse but I say "boring" was my answer.) Maybe I was wrong to hurt a poor, bleeding, sensitive person's feelings but does anyone agree that to get dinged by a violation was a BIT unfeeling on their part?

  • I think it's time we move in together. (I don't care about marriage - sinner lol) Should I ask him?

I'm always at his place or he's at mine. It would benefit us both financially. The main potential hurdle is that he likes his private time away from me (I have no problem with this). He would be free to do the hiking, camping, galavanting just like he always has, lol. He also likes things to be his idea and his way. Any ideas for tactful, subtle ways to start dropping hints? No lectures about the sanctity of marriage and burning in hell due to sex out of wedlock, too late for both of us. Be honest with me but if you are just gonna be smart a.s.s. and mean, keep it to yourself, pretty please.

  • I'm all for capitalism, but doesn't this sound excessive to you?

New York media conglomerate News Corp is paying $50,000 a month to rent an apartment for Chairman Rupert Murdoch. Mr. Murcoch's combined salary and bonus reached a high of $25.7 million in the year ended June 30. This information is quoted directly from the Wall Street Journal, pg B3 - 9/8/06. (I have $70 for gasoline and groceries after paying rent this month and I thought I had it good!)

are fatty tissue that has solidified, correct? Is there a way to eliminate them or reduce their size? I've lost a bunch of wieght, but these lumps seem to be appearing everywhere.
