What would the term be, medically or otherwise, for eyes of this color?
My irises have two colors in both eyes. They are amber (light brown) around the inner edge (next to the pupil) and green around the outer edge.
I've read that eyes of this sort are rare and are often although incorrectly referred to as being hazel. I would like to know what the correct color term for my eye color would be as well as what the medical term for it is.
You can view a picture of a green/brown eye similar to mine here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Eye_S1NN3R.jpg .
The green is more pronounced and the brown is lighter and yellowish in my eyes though.
Thanks in advance.
3 AnswersBiology1 decade agoWould the lies of a passive-aggressive person be considered as pathological, compulsive, or both?
Here are the definitions (though they aren't clinical):
A pathological liar is usually defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little awareness. Pathological lying is often viewed as coping mechanism developed in early childhood and it is often associated with some other type of mental health disorder. A pathological liar is often goal-oriented (i.e., focused - tells lies to get his/her way). Pathological liars have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. A pathological liar often comes across as being manipulative and cunning.
A compulsive (also called habitual or chronic) liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable, while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary and routine. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning, rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response that is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship
5 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoHow do I deal with my neighbor who I believe is passive-aggressive?
I guess what I'm asking is how do I interact with this neighbor and maintain friendly, neighborly relations?
I can provide more info if it's needed. There's just not enough room here to list everything.

Is it easier to discuss politics with a liberal or a conservative? (This is not a question about a particular politician. If all you can answer with is name-calling or partisan hate-mongering, I'm asking you to skip this question, please.)

3 AnswersMathematics2 decades agoHow do I know by looking at this number (& using simple math) that it is evenly divisible by these numbers?
The number is 9,120,312.
The divisors are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 72.
(There are more but these are enough. I'll do the first two to give yoou an idea of what I'm asking.)
9,120,312 is disible by...
1 because all numbers are divisible by 1.
2 because it's one's digit is an even number.
3 AnswersMathematics2 decades agoIf division by 0 is undefined ...?
(0)(0) = 0
From this one could argue that 0/0 = 0, but isn't a number when divided by itself equal to 1?
However, since (0)(5) = 0, then 0/0 = 5 would also be true.
In fact, 0/0 could equal any number.
Why is this?
