I feel LG engineers are really lazy and they are not bothered to release an update to Android OS (Froyo, v2.2) installed on LG-P970 (Optimus Black). We have been hearing about an update coming to India for last 6 months but the customer care is not sure when it will come. Also, will you ever buy an LG phone considering the lazy nature of this company?

I recently installed Ubuntu linux on my computer (got rid of Windows, finally.........). Though I am not very familiar with linux, I am learning it and finding it useful (not missing Windows much).

I would like to know if there is any Chat client that can allow Video Chat (just like Yahoo Messenger) on Ubuntu linux. In Windows, I used Yahoo messenger and Skype. I have downloaded on beta version of skype that works fine in linux. But I am missing out on friends who are in Yahoo network.

I am doing a six sigma project and would like to use some software for doing data analysis. Is there a freeware or open source software with functionality similar to Matlab?
