When I was a kid, we used to get these great veal and pepper "hero" sandwhiches. I can't seem to duplicate the recipe. The meat was cut into medallions, and cooked with oil and peppers and onions, but with litttle or no sauce.
I'm a fairly good cook, but can't seem to get the taste. Can anybody shed some light?
