My hair is just below my shoulders, but for the past month or so, I've had this intense desire to get it cut short, I mean like so short that clippers have to be used instead of scissors. A boycut, I guess, now, every time I see a woman with ultra short hair, I want to run and cut mine off, too. Has anyone else ever been like this? Should I submit to my feelings? Serious answers only please.

The other day I was in a part of the city where I don't live. I had a doctor's appointment in that area. I also needed some stamps, so I stopped in at the local post office. While there, I saw the wife of one of one of my colleagues. (I freelance, so I set my own hours, so I wasn't "skipping" work or anything) In a fairly loud voice, she asked, "WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I nearly cringed. I obviously could not offend her, but what I was doing in that part of the city was none of her business!

Stupidly, I said, "I have a doctor's appointment nearby."

The witch said, "Oh, where?"

I didn't answer but stood there and said nothing. She replied, "I said, 'Which doctor?'"

Since when does anyone have the right to know which doctor I see (he was just a gynecologist; it wasn't a big deal, but I just didn't feel like telling the entire world)?!
