  • Why do people freak about the cost of Gas and not the cost of Milk?

    It costs BILLIONS of dollars to get the Oil from the ground. To get it to tankers. To ship it across the ocean. To refine it into Gasoline and other fuels. Then ship it to Gas Stations.

    How much does it cost to feed a Cow and to milk it. To truck it to a plant. To pasturize it. To ship it to stores?

    I bet it's not the Billions of $$$ it takes to do it for Oil.

    Then why don't people riot over the fact that Milk costs more per gallon than Gas does??
