Last year 1-12-08 it showed 100 but I walked 20 mins. to the lab. to get it drawn. Many times it was between 8 Oclock up to noon. So my tests were done in the morning.Can walking change fasting glucose results to negative results?

I have had hypoglycemia since 8 years old I am now 58 years old.At my jobs I would need a glass of orange juice to pull out of my dizzy, tired confued and hungery state. Last week my test was done at 3pm which my glucose is high it was the A1c Hemaglobin results was 6.6. I fasted 15 hrs before.But I took the bus which drove me to the door.Not relavant to the question, just add info. (I asked the lab if it is a fasting test they said yes. I asked other diabetics who get the test they said yes you fast 12 to 14 hrs. before).

Is that a 158 or what number is it. My doctor or the nurse says 158.

I was DX with diabetes last Tuesday.Since then I have been walking and my weight is a little under normal because I like to walk a lot.

My whole body gets real sore when I walk, I walk 4 to 18 miles.During my walk I get dizzy just walking a few miles.

I had cataract surgery 5 years ago. I had complications after surgery and struggled to see for two and a half years one of my problems was cloudy lense in the left eye, had jag laser done in 6/06.
