2 serial inverter (NOT) gates?
I have 2 serial NOT gates, and the output of the second inverter is fed in to the input of the first one. What kind of voltage would I get if I did not connect anything to it (no ground, no +5V). When using a simulation program, I get 0 V at both of the points? http://i52.tinypic.com/33uej41.png

A ball with mass m was attached to a tensionless string, of which the other end was fixed. The ball was was pushed in the clockwise direction when the string was overlapping with the vertical. The ball had a speed of v when it was making an angle theta with the horizontal. Find the speed if the length of the string was L.
I seem to be getting an answer of v=sqrt(gL/sin(theta)) yet the given answer says v=sqrt(gL*sin(theta))
