I'm opinionated, and stubborn. I voice my thoughts without fear of what others think or believe. Quite simply? I don't care. About you. Or anything your little mind can come up with. I have more important things to do other than arguing topics that are of no concern to me. Though if I do speak my mind chances are something you said either sparked an interest or royally ticked me off. (Topics having to do with goth are a touchy subject for me... I dare you to argue your point.) I have yet to experience it all, but I'm working on it. I've lived the "dark and spooky" lifestyle for years. It's not a trend for me. If you're looking for a new look, go be emo. I hear they accept anyone. I'm most comfortable talking about music. It's my main passion in life. Darkwave, post punk, and new wave are my main staples. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOTH MUSIC. I'm happily taken, boys. You won't hold a candle to him.
Would you rather be more beautiful or more intelligent?
You can't be both.
Meaning: You can't use your intelligence to make something to become beautiful... and you can't use your beauty to exploit someone into educating you. In other words choose one or the other.
Why? I'm curious which people would choose if given the opportunity to choose.
19 AnswersSociology1 decade ago10 points to the first person who can tell me where all the black and white stripes are found in Burton movies
Tim is *known* for his signature black and white stripes in his movies. So I'll give 10 points to the first person who can correctly state where the infamous stripes can be found in *these* films:
Pee-wee's Big Adventure
Beetlejuice
Edward Scissorhands
Ed Wood
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Mars Attacks!
Sleepy Hollow
Big Fish
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
The Corpse Bride
James and the Giant Peach
You can't leave any film out!
5 AnswersMovies1 decade agoExplain "goth" to me... in your own words (not references online).?
My boyfriend and I live the gothic lifestyle. Not the new trend that is spreading (can you say Rot Topic?), but based on the beginnings of the genre... when it wasn't "cool" to be different.
(And it isn't a phase. I'm now 30, and still dressing up, listening to dark wave, and in love with Poe).
I'm just curious how people see us... and what they believe to be gothic. Bands, clothing, etc...
