  • Ground transportation from Orlando to Port Canaveral?

I will arrive at the Orlando airport in August for a cruise out of Port Canaveral. Should I rent a car and pay to park there (I will be staying a few days after the cruise in MCO)? or is there a ground transportation service out of the airport that will take me there and take me back to the aiport afterwards? I don't think that the cruise ship offers that (Royal Caribbean).

  • Are there unspoken rules for matching window treatments?

I just bought a house where the previous owners left nothing on the windows. No drapes, curtains, blinds, etc. The front of the house has arched windows, the back standard rectangle. Should all the windows facing one direction be the same color from the outside? Should they be the same style (ie: Roman shades, vinyl blinds, etc.) And how do I hang blinds from those arched windows?

  • Anyone have a discontinued perfume?

My friend loved the "All my Children" Fusion perfume & her bottle is empty. It's a cheapy and I've searched all the perfume websites, Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Does anyone have one just sitting around that you want to get rid of or know of where I can find a bottle?

  • Recommendations for Windshield Replacement?

I'm looking for referrals in southwestern Pennsylvania from anyone who has had their windshield replaced. Did you have good service and a good price or do you know of a place that I should stay away from.

  • How to repair knock sensor in 2002 Mazda Millenia?

The dealer is asking a ridiculous price--I think they're trying to put one over on me. I can find a local guy to do the repairs and buy the parts---but I haven't been able to find info online that tells me "where" the sensor is actually located. Any auto guys have access to a drawing or steps to take to repair the sensor? Thanx!

  • Do you know what "yinz" means?

I'm from Pittsburgh and it's a colloquilism used by most of the working class. Bonus if you can tell me what it means to "red up" something! lol Good luck!

  • Hotel recommendations for a mom bringing two daughters to DC for Fri & Sat in Augst.?

I'm looking for reasonably priced ($100 per night?-I have AAA) that is near the Smithsonian, White House, and monuments. Would like to walk as much as possible, but know the metro is available too. How expensive is parking? Most hotels say "fee" for parking.

  • Any suggestions for a family priced hotel with a beach in the central Florida Keys?

Everything online and in my AAA book are resorts and not exactly what I had in mind. Have you stayed somewhere that was clean and modern with a beach that is family-friendly? Key West is fine too, but I thought staying in the central area might be less expensive.

  • What do you do with tulips once they're done blooming?

Do you cut them off at the ground or let them brown up and die? (they look so ugly while you wait)AND what about the bulbs? Some people tell me dig them up and replant in the fall-other people say leave them be. Each year they are smaller or don't bloom at all. (and I'd like to plant other things where the tulips bloomed) Internet gives conflicting advise. What about you who have grown tulips? What are the best ones and what do you do with them once they finish blooming?
